Wildlife experts monitor monarch butterfly count on California coast

i grew one milkweed bush and the monarchs come yearly. i dont know how they know to come… however i just saw one die here and im quite sad. ill try to grow more in my small humble yard in oakland

Try to grow 5 milkweed plants in pots or ground 3ft to 10 feet apart so they have enough. I saw one die near my blackberries too 😢

@@roottrackerzbyyaira Try and make sure you are growing native milkweed and NOT tropical milkweed. Tropical milkweed kills them.
