I just had a sinus infection with both my ear's infected too so was put on antibiotics which it seems that you need! Please keep us posted Rory!! Get better soon! 🤗🤒..get some 😴💕

Third or fourth week? Good lord man, go to the Doctor. And there's no faster way to convince yourself you're dying than to throw your symptoms into the internet. I hope you feel better soon buddy.

If you’re not coughing it’s probably a sinus infection. Try going into a steamy bathroom. But you need an antibiotic. You’re lucky you have NHi. Please use it. Janet RN

Rory, you really have to see your doctor.
At sinus infection you would probably have also a headache, having pneumonia you would have increased temperature, constant cough (worse when lying down) and pain at your lower back.
I had both a few times and it needs a doctor's checkup and antibiotics.
A lot of fluids and rest.
Fingers crossed that you'll feel better soon.

Get to the doctor and get some antibiotics, I get sinusitis quite often. I've had Pneumonia twice in the past 3 years, the wracking cough, lower back and chest pain was the tell tale symptoms for me. Either way - GET TO THE DOCTOR!!!

Me too. Usually bronchitis follows a cold but it was pneumonia last time - although I have asthma, so unsurprising.
For my wife, it's almost always a sinus infection instead.
Funny thing: over the past few years, if I catch cold it will only hang around in my head for a day. The fun begins in the days and weeks following, when my lungs get involved instead!

Phone 111 they can get you to the doctor's quickly. I'm suffering with it now. COPD needs to be ruled out.

You probably just need a standard course of antibiotics.
Perfectly normal to sometimes have to deal with a secondary infection following a cold, as you age, or if you have asthma, or you've been a smoker.
These infections are caused by bacteria that took advantage of your weakened immune defences during the cold. The three most common types of these sorts of bacterial infection are:
    - Sinusitis
    - Bronchitis
    - Pneumonia
By the way, "itis" comes from the Greek word for inflammation. Bacterial infections cause inflammation, hence the name. Sinusitis is located in the sinus cavities; Bronchitis is located in the lungs' bronchial tubes; and Pneumonia occurs in the tiny air sacs in your lungs called alveoli.
You'd have to have some other bad stuff going on in/with your body for these secondary infections to kill you (unless this was the 1930's or earlier, before antibiotics were discovered), so you don't have to worry.
The sorts of pneumonia that can be more serious aren't caused by bacteria but rather have either a viral or fungal cause - neither of which can be treated with antibiotics. One of them is probably what you were thinking about.
Just pop over to the doctor and let the loving arms of His Majesty's NHM envelope you in a healing embrace!

I'm glad you posted this Rory as i'm now in my tenth week with it and i have had one course of antibiotics which did stop me coughing all the time but i still have a sore chest when i do cough. I've seen two nurses to start with, first also said it was sinus then i finally got to see a doctor but he just said it's one of those things that's got o to get better on it's own but like you i'm really peed off with it :-(

I am very worried. It sounds like you have an infection and its not going to go away without a prescription for antibiotics. Pull your big boy pants up and go get antibiotics.
    Are you still here.????

Don't wait any longer, go see a doctor. Don't self diagnose with internet. Do what you have to do, go see a doctor, act and think positively, take much rest, drink a lot of water and eat well, pray and trust that God can help you.

I noticed you for different videos that you should take care for your body language, your cough. My advice is that you visit ER or go to your doctor to make you some tests. I hope it won't be permanent covid, but you should go to the doctor. But as a personal advice, you should take some days of rest, but you should go to ER and it's better to go to GP. It's a bad period for Covid and viruses, stress also it's guilty since that it becomes your defences weak. But you should consult a doctor right now. Nala needs you and all your subscribers. I wish you get well and you recover soon. Take Care! Goodnight Rory😪🥶💞

Go to the docs and then get yourself some rest buddy. Dont know how you can be bothered doing content when feeling ill.

Rory, it is not a Sinus infection it’s more like pneumonia. If your back hurts, that's a sign. Get yourself to the doctors, because you need antibiotics. And they will give you a shot that makes you feel better.
Before your lungs collapse. Please get to the doctor. This is nothing to play around with. Love you. Go take care of yourself.

If you had pneumonia, you wouldn't be able to lay down and sleep, lungs and breathing would be all fucked up. I'd still just go see a doc, they'd know right away instead of you guessing what you have. Could also provide antibiotics.
