Elaine I would have loved going on a cruise with Donny & Marie. I’m so jealous. Did you see their show live in Vegas? I did at the Flamingo in 2014 and I absolutely loved it. My first husband was only a year older then me and he knew the Osmond’s and grew up listening to them like I did. We divorced after 26 years of marriage and I got married to my second husband and he’s 10 years younger then me. He knew of them but never followed them in his family. He tagged along with me. I told him how much the Osmond’s meant to me growing up. Not just their music but because I just like them had a very large family. When he bought the tickets he thought oh we do t need to go to the meet and greet with them. We got to the show that night and when Donny & Marie came out and started their first song. He said all these women of all ages started screaming he looked over at me and saw my face so lit up he said he just wanted to cry for not paying the extra which was around $100 extra each ticket because he truly saw how I really loved them. My poor husband said he felt so bad and guilty that he bought tickets for the next nights show and for the meet and greet as well to surprise me. Unfortunately the next nights show was cancelled because one of them had fallen. I have never forgotten the gesture he made to make me even more happy. I told him it was ok because he made a lifetime dream come true by just seeing their show. He said he wanted to do something just as special as he bought tickets to see Shania Twain live at Caesars Palace where we were staying. She was amazing as well. I’ve seen a few other shows over my 59 1/2 years being on earth. Donny & Marie was my number 2 favorite. Springsteen in 1980 is my 3rd but I saw Elvis Presley when I was 12. He was the ultimate live show but the Osmond’s are so close. Seeing Elvis is a hard top live performer to follow but Donny & Marie are so close. Take care and God bless. No ALAN has MS. He was my favorite back in the day. Breaks my heart that he does. I'm not completely sure who this James is, but he most certainly COULD pass for an Osmond..that's for sho'! Donny still looks and dances AWESOME as well! Wish all the brothers could perform together just once again...it b a dream to b able to c them all do those moves again and of course SING TOGETHER.
