  • This Rocket League bot has over 250,000 hours of training in the game and has reached the grand champion level, powered by AI machine learning. But does it suck at Rocket League?

If you play them against like 2v1, they gang up on you. Pros haven't been able to win a best of 5 against Nexto in 2v1 setting. It's quite crazy. Fairy Peak (took 1 game, goat obviously), Kaydop, Chausette, Mawkzy all lost. Mawkzy played like 15 straight matches to finally win 1. The next version of Nexto is probably going to be ssl or very close.

    Hi guys, bot creator here.
Thanks to Sunless for doing this awesome video!
Nexto is still training over at the RLGym Twitch channel, where we also do showmatches from time to time (we've had several pros attempt the 1v2). By this point Nexto has amassed over 300k hours, and is better than the version Sunless played😉
We’ve released the version that Sunless played to RLBot, but the best is yet to come, so keep an eye out!

Cool idea, but realistically a very complicated problem. The question of what constitutes a specific mmr, that is. It could be certain inconsistencies or lack of mechanics or bad rotations and all of this is constantly changing as the mmr to skill ratio changes in real rocket league. Imo it would be inaccurate always by some degree, but it definitely would be cool to see some attempt at various skill levels of the bot, just maybe not correspondent to specific mmr's or ranks.

Also someone mentioned getting a title for beating nexto, so the same could be done for the challenge ladder. I feel like there is a lot you could do this.
