What a great ranking video! Thank you 🤩 I love the Yucca palette- it gives almost a Safari palette vibe but with some beautiful shimmers. Also love Retro Glam. Hung Vanggo has a beautiful tutorial for a “winter pastels” look with Retro Glam which could be a great one to recreate if that’s where the mood might take you.

I love love LOVE the palette you decluttered! At first I did not for the same reasons you mentioned…then I watched the video from ND and how this palette is to be applied with fingers and is a ‘no makeup makeup’ palette. It I only have 10 mins, this palette is the ONLY one that can make me look beautifully put together. When people rate this lower, it is bc they are expecting it to work with their brushes, apply even color that really pops- it doesn’t do that but it’s still gorgeous.
I Need A Nude was the first ND palette I ever bought and I already have 3 more… and feeling like I should pick up the Golden palette after your review - as someone with fair skin I really appreciate the light, cool/neutral tones in these! After suffering through the years of palettes like naked heat and tartlette toasted, I needed these!
I became interested in makeup in the Spring of 2023, at the age 43. I was browsing Sephora for the first time, and was looking through their sales section. I had no idea who Natasha Denona was at the time, but Retro Glam was 50% off, and I liked the colour story. That was my first ND palette. I have since become addicted to collecting eyeshadow palettes, and now own 30 Natasha Denona palettes. I am obsessed, and have to purchase every single midi palette that she releases, even if I don't like the colour story. I even bought a second copy of a palette just so that I could remove all the pans and use it for creating my own ND colour stories. If I had to do a ranking, a lot of her colourful and earlier palettes would be at the end. I'm not a huge fan of colour, and I prefer her newer formulas. My favourite midi palettes of hers are I Need a Warm, Yucca and Golden. My least favourite would be either Zendo or Love.

if you're olive and especially warm olive then yes yes yes! I adore Yucca. I'm myself cool olive and most of the shades are pretty neutral for my undertone
Even though I don't traditionally wear the colors in the Yucca palette, I was so drawn to the unusual color story that I couldn't resist it. I pulled it out recently and tried a look and I was surprised by how much I really loved it. I definitely want to dip into it again and try some other combinations. I also love the Zendo palette because of the unusual color story. And I so admired ND for going out on a bit of a limb with the Xenon palette. I was drawn to that one too and love playing with it.
One of the things I love about ND pallets is how they are laid out. It’s easy to put a look together. The warm and retro are so good. I also like the sunrise and yucca
My favorite ND palette is also the I Need A Nude, but my favorite mini palette is the Starlette. It literally goes with everything I wear and own and it’s super easy to travel with 😊 I really enjoyed your thoughts on the different palettes you went over and how you spoke about your makeup style changing over the years. The looks you do are so pretty, especially this one today!
This was a really fun ranking! I remember when I HATED cool tones and as a result I own so many orange leaning warm paletes that I no longer wear either!
I just recently got the Retro Glam palette. I agree the flutter shimmer shade is my go to inner corner. My favorite colorful palette I have fun with and the many looks I can pull and play with.

Hi Angela, I love,love,love my Natasha Denona palette, number one for me is the YUCCA PALETTE,two-I NEED A NUDE PALETTE, THREE- THE ROXA, because I have hazel coloured eyes and theses are the palette I gravitate towards the most, but it all depends on what I am wearing or the occasion ( Christmas- golden or new years-xenon palettes), Natasha Denona is my favourite brand for eyeshadow palettes,they simply are beautiful and the best for me. You should try to combine my dream mattes with the xenon shimmers for fun, especially for an icy winter look. Nurture and aspiration, I have huge pan in those two shades because I use them along with xenon so much. All winter long, lol.
Wow this was quite the undertaking, lol! I’ve tried so hard to rank mine and I just can’t, lol. I guess I could probably say, the my dream is probably my favorite and most used. In the summer I use it just as a stand alone. Or I’ll pull for the shade Galaxia from mini starlette or mini retro. I swear, Galaxia belongs in the my dream palette, lol. And in the winter I still use my dream but I use the shimmers from the xenon palette with the mattes from my dream. And I love the INAN palette. So I think these are my top 3! In the summer I love zendo or bronze, but only in the summer if I have a tan. I do love the Retro palette. Maybe I’d put that one in my top 4. I do love glam. So those are my top 7. They’re in my top vanity drawer. All of the rest I keep not too far away. Last year I did like the hyper natural palette. I only liked 2 or 3 of the eyeshadows. The blush is ok, the bronzer is ok. I was really hoping that Natasha’s new blushes would have been made to fit and interchangeable with this hyper natural face and eye palette! So that was a huge let down. Golden, INAW and Roxa are ok, but they’re not faves. I do like the glam face and eye palettes but I like the darker one better, and her love face and eye palette, I like 3 of the eyeshadows and the highlighter. But I really do love the shimmer in that palette, it’s pretty special. I do not really like Love, Yucca, or retro glam. I do have the Gold palette, sunset, and Lila. If those 3 I like Lila best. Don’t especially love the other two. My favorite minis: ND my dream is my fave stand alone. But, the shade Galaxia that is found in mininstarlette or mini retro is one of my favorite Natasha shadows of all so I’d need one of those for that one shade. Oh! And mini Biba is an excellent mini palette. I do not love mini nudes like most people seem to. I have a whole bunch of other minis, but these are the only 4 I really use.
All of my eyeshadow was purchased well before the pandemic started. I really want to throw everything and start over but don’t know what to get. I wear neutral, cool toned, matte, light, pinks or browns. Thinking about a few of these.
I currently have ColourPop's Stone Cold Fox as my fave palette but I want something that's still cool but leans more taupey than pinkish if that makes sense and I can't decide between INAN and Glam. I've heard glam has more pigmentation and is overall neutral-cool, and INAN is more sparkly but with less opacity and more neutral-neutral. I'm medium to high contrast so do need a bit of depth and I prefer a wet look full shimmer than a diffuse translucence. So I think Glam but EVERYONE prefers INAN and I do love a shimmer swept on the lid and an easy matte blended into the crease/outer corner and done and it may be easier for that?
If you have olive green neutral/warm skin tone, the Golden palette! It's the matte beiges and browns that work well for me. My warmth needs to come from yellow, green, red, which this palette has some of those. The I need a warm has more peachy colors , that only work when I have a tan. Then her I need a nude, those gray/taupe mattes will look like I am bruised or ill. The Golden palette mattes remind me of the 5 pan Camel palette :). I still want I need a nude for those darker shimmer shades !!! I LOVE Varis in the Golden palette :)

Love my ND palettes as well❤ The I need a nude is one of my faves too, but I wish it had a matte white and a darker brown. Then it would be a fave❤. By favorite one of the newer releases is actually the I need a warm, which surprises me quite a bit, because I’m much more of a taupe girl. But I find that the variety (light to dark) is better in that one, so I end up using that one more. The My dream palette would have been my best one if she would have removed the orange shimmer and put in a matte white or nearly white instead🎉 ( if she took the matte white in the mini xenon and the lightest brown in my dream mini, I would have brought that one to my grave when I die😂)
Yucca is my favourite then Golden the Warm. INAN is too light and too shimmery for me to wear often. I pull single shades from it though. Retro Glam is my favourite to use when I want a lighter, springtime look.
I regret not buying the pastel palette. I did not know that it is a limited edition palette. Please if anyone one knows if ND does restock her limited ones do let me know?
Might I suggest you trying and evaluating out new stuff/products for us is a much better argument for saving on needless consumption than thousands of us going out and buying something that we find is a miss and we won’t subsequently use. We rely on you!

Might I suggest you trying and evaluating out new stuff/products for us is a much better argument for saving on needless consumption than thousands of us going out and buying something that we find is a miss and we won’t subsequently use. We rely on you!
