They are, if they were that strong you would see more of them and when some of them become strong they’re played for example the recent tf top was op but in truth while being annoying and kinda lane neutralizing ranged top can be they don’t win games since you lack the cc engage and tackiness the good old wholesome big Chungus Reddit champ such as malphite or sett or Darius can bring.
The highest wr toplaners rn are akshan and camille. Ranged top is good when u can play em and not die to immobile bruisers lmao
Ranged top is very matchup dependant, and even then its quite easy to play around them and make them useless for the rest of the match
only time where i'd argue the opposite would be something like Illaoi vs Quinn, but even then you can play it right to handicap Quinn for the rest of the game
