If you played Ciel's route you know that Roa is different from SHIKI, he's quite arrogant, but he has respect toward some people. You can see how he gave up everything only because Arcueid wasn't paying attention to them, in Ciel's route.
I really hope the Far Side routes contain more writing for SHIKI. I always thought that the scene he and Shiki get in Kagetsu Tohya, as well as some of the writing he gets in the manga should have been in the original VN. Given that Ciel felt terrified when she lost her sense of self, it would be interesting to see SHIKI struggle with the idea of killing his foster brother because of Roa causing his inversion impulse
We see a glimpse of his real self in the Kohaku route and it was one of the best scenes imo. Considering how well the remake was, I'm confident the team at Type moon won't screw it up.
I always knew Arcueid wouldn't suck Shiki's blood, so in the kiss scene I was sure that there should be a choice there. "Bite your tongue and kiss her" or "cut your arm and make her drink your blood". It would be a bad ending of course, but it would be interesting to see Shiki go to such lengths to save her.
She would be? I don't think it's impossible for her to drink blood and still stay sane, it's just that Nasu doesn't like conventional means, everything has to be extremely impossible to happen
That entire sequence where it seems the world's light itself have been flickered out and the only thing that remain are the thick and enormous amount of lines is just amazing. But I'm wondering is it just Shiki eyes on max output seeing every possible lines on everything or something more like an ability, like imposing death upon something or connecting lines of death near him into a single point. If it's the later it would explain why roa lines suddenly massively appears and was kinda visibly connected to the ground and why his lower half was completely destroyed when Shiki pierced the point.Although even when Shiki says roa's whole lower half was "dead",roa was still able to atleast undergo his regeneration process nonetheless.Maybe this "technique" reduce the potency of death?Anyways just me babbling midnight thinking about headcanon, feel free to correct me on some facts or present another idea.
It was brought up in a interview this is what was said 4Gamer: That crossing-alley scene was one of those things that got me thinking about it while I was playing.By the way, Shiki killed Lore's leg in the hallway, but does that make sense? Nasu: It makes sense. Also, I think you may be wondering that there is only one route for Alquaid... That too will be eventually. So their a reason behind it but Nasu did not explain it I think it might have something to do with Tohno being able to see the death of space since in Tsukhime material it said that Tohno can see the death of space and existence Here's the statement about it Ultimately, it becomes possible to not only see the "lines" and "points" of living and inanimate things, but also the death even of space and existence.[16 Tohno also said he could see the death of space in Ciel normal ending when he was trying to see death lines on Arcueid body so this might be him killing space but that just guess
@@wesleyjackson7487 "Also, I think you may be wondering that there is only one route for Alquaid... That too will be eventually." What does he mean here? Will there be another ending for Arcueid? What happened to Arc's good end?
@@theleechqueen I got know idea if I had to guess I would say their will be a sequel of some kind for for her route but will have to wait and see what he has planned
Why does the successor of the Tohno family have to have demon blood though? Surely if the demon blood is more trouble than worth in modern society, then it would have been better to have Shiki who doesn’t have mixed blood become the successor? An explanation like the blood has thinned over time should be enough to keep the branch families happy?
It's not that the successor of Tohno should have demon blood. It's just that, Shiki is just an outsider. The head of the family should be someone who's actually a Tohno. The demon blood part doesn't have much to do with it.
This conclusion is so unfair, Shiki suffered like a hell dog these 13 days, but in the end he couldn't even fight by her side. Frustration alone should be enough to wrest from him any will to live.
Just wait for the continuation. Nasu always planned a sequel, some short stories plus an extra ending in the old manga adaptation were even written based on that. And in an interview after the release of the remake, Nasu hinted this scene has a lot of foreshadowing (and it's pretty obvious what he means by that to me after reading said old short story sequels: Shiki's eyes going nuts) plus that the questions of why Arcueid has only one ending in the remake will also be answered with future content. And even besides that, there are some unresolved things in the remake with Arcueid, I mean Shiki seeing her (future?) regrets in his dreams during the prologue, and even weird hints in her descriptions in FGO. It really looks like this isn't the end of her story, the problem is just...how long do we actually have to wait to see it Nasu???? lol
Just so you know, in the original Tsukihime manga adaptation, it ends with Shiki, with the help of Ciel, freeing Arcueid from her castle and they watch the sunset together.
