Don't watch at spoilers but watch trailers breakdown. Godzilla is only hunting monarch and Apex bases to destroy/find something. Let me tell you only one thing he's actually hunting remainings of ghidora. Godzilla can sence ghidora's presence so he's trying to destroy those wherever he can sence Kevin.
Humans can't understand it but team Godzilla will find it at the conclusion but it'll be to late.
I think Kong is going to win even though he shouldn't. They had to buff him up so much to contend with Godzilla. In Kong Skull Island you saw his parents skeletons, and they were only a little bigger then he was in that movie. You add flesh to them and yea he should be a good size bigger in this movie then Skull Island but not as big as he has gotten. Then there is the fact that Legendary is losing the rights to Godzilla after this movie and its going back to Toho. You add all that up and it looks like Godzilla will lose. But lets be honest Godzilla nuked King Ghidorah with 2 attacks in the last movie. In all respect to Kong he doesn't even compare to Godzilla and his potential.

@Matthew DePalma saw it and my god do I hate the main woman more than anything ever. Some of the lines she delivers are almost laughably bad or are unreasonably angry for no reason. Everything else was pretty good especially the monster combat you can actually see! 8/10 wish the humans weren’t horrible actors trying to make a middleschoolers script work

I have tickets to see the movie next week, having said that I'm almost sure of what will happen. Godzilla and kong will fight that is obvious. They will eventually team up and fight and take on mecha godxilla, afterwards they'll take walk away. I am aware that "one will fall" but I believe that will be mecha godzilla. That aside I belive godzilla will outmatch kong but keep him alive. It's a given thay mecha godzilla will make an apparent because based on the first trailer alone. Godzilla erratic behavior is due to the fact that it senses king ghidora. Monarch is using the head from the end of king of the monsters to program mecha godzilla. Godzilla will fight kong because he will defend himself but his focus on attacks is finding mecha godzilla since he can sense it still being alive. As someone who knows the lore I believe this is what's happen. I don't think it'll be the end of the monsterverse either. I'd love to see godzilla go at destroyah again

Fr man Godzilla 2014 barely showed Godzilla at all it was just all about the humans I hated that
here's one thing to remember: the right head of ghidorah (san also known as kevin) Got decapitated from Godzilla in the ocean in Godzilla kotm. They probably used kevin's brain for mecha godzilla to regenerate skin over the robot's body so it won't reveal. So Kong and Godzilla might team up on MechaGodzilla. Also, Kong did not win the first time! The both gave up and and went back to where they came from.

We don't need an Anne Darrow, Legendary is trying to base Kong off the 1962 Kong and made the design similar to the original 1933 film.
Plus, adding a woman that Kong falls in love with would just take away from the Monsterverse.
Now adding another one of Kong's species like a female Titanus Kong would make a lot more sense. The Monsterverse is trying to focus on realism and at the same time include mythological creatures like the Kraken from Norse Mythology and Leviathan as well as Behemoth from the Bible.

Im on team Godzilla but the movie clearly wants to make Kong win. They make us sympathise Kong and make Godzilla the villain. Also, in the previous movies Godzilla was almost as big as a skyscraper, now he is so small that a fking boat could hold both of them.

@@melvinrembet7438 because of the monsterverse which was started by warner bros with the 2014 godzilla film and led to the Kong movie in 2017, but you have to thank Toho for that cause they own rights to Godzilla they let warner bros and legendary pictures use godzilla for the monsterverse. So you have think about it will the Monsterverse still have been succesfull if they used Kong as their main character instead of godzilla.
It just only shows to prove how much godzilla has influence in pop culture and like i said before 2017 people didn't care about Kong until the 2017 movie came out but only cause its related to the godzilla franchise
