WONDERFUL!!!!! Thank you for my favourite Chopin on your channel and for so famous well-known his Mazurka, always I'm very grateful for this composer, of course, the next my "like-thumb up-upvote" for an excellent performance, my warm heartfelt greetings from Poland, have a happy day as well.
Hi Joel, This is a fine treat my friend !!!!! You are the Chopin Magic man !!!! You really know this piece and as such can really pour yourself into it . .. wonderful !!!! Thanks for sharing and have a strong week Maestro !!!!!! jeff. . .LLLLLLL
This is lovely Joel. I’ve never heard this Mazurka before thanks for introducing it to me. I really like you taking your time with it as Frank Graves says you do it justice and more. ✨✨
Joel Ross yeah I should probably post one soon haha Gosh that's a tough question, I can't possibly choose one, they are actually my favorite genre that Chopin wrote. The one I've been listening to a lot lately is the F sharp minor from Op. 59, but one mazurka that made me tear up several times (which rarely happens to me) is no 4 from Op. 17, that one is just too much.
It's a wonderful piano's playing,Joel my friend. Congrats. I send you my best regards from Greece. Have happines,harmony,creative and a nice weekend. LIKE 6 V a s i l i s.
Lovely again - a very sensitive touch and full of the mazurka spirit!!! I think u would particularly enjoy the Op 56 mazurkas - they are perhaps the most musically rewarding to play and ik u would do them very well (check out Kate Liu's amazing playing of them from the Chopin competition if u need inspiration)
Very beautiful and I like your delicate touch on the keys. I don't care for those that feel they must band the key as hard as they can. The best tone is when you caress the key no hammer it :)
This Mazurka is so great ! And I really love the "old fashioned sound" of your piano. Tempo is quite slow (slower than what I am used to), however it works very well this way ... Bravo !
Hey Joel, super happy I found your channel. Might be off topic but wanted to ask you something. I’ve started piano 6 days ago, and I was able to play chopin’s prelude no.7 not too badly. Before i go to college, I wanted to at least play Wedding day at Trodleghim by Greig. Do you think it’s possible?
Hey Yui, thank you! It's awesome you're starting piano! And playing a Chopin Prelude after 6 days...nice! Well since you've only been playing piano for just over a week that's not a lot of experience. So it might be better to kinda work your way up before learning Trodleghim. But if you feel ready I'd say go for it!
Thank you Michael! That means a lot. Right now I'm doing it for enjoyment! I took lessons at a music school for a few months but didn't like it. I might check out another conservatory.
In which case, if only hobby, you've achieved high proficiency. I feel it is a lot of work to achieve an intermediate level, I therefore appreciate how much time has been spent in learning a chopin ballade. Well done. Only those that have tried will be able to congratulate you with knowing.

Thanks Mr. Poilvet! I love this Mazurka too! Yeah I like to play it slower, it's marked Lento in the edition I have.
Very nice touch! I like the little statue too. Is that Beethoven?
Thank you so much Balthazar! NO IT'S CHOPIN! I got him off Amazon. :D

Joel Ross Alrighty, thanks joel c;
beautiful performance, Joel
Thanks Elena!
Good again. Are your aspirations to do this professionally, or study at conservatory level? It's within your grasp.
Thank you Michael! That means a lot. Right now I'm doing it for enjoyment! I took lessons at a music school for a few months but didn't like it. I might check out another conservatory.

I really enjoyed watching your performance, Joel. Your touch is so elegant and it heals me.
Thank you, Aco! I’m happy to hear that. I can’t imagine life without music! 🎶
Absolutely lovely Mazurka as so well suited for an older piano! I enjoyed this very much!
Thanks a lot, Miss Maggie! It's fun to decide which piano to record on haha ;D
