    In my experience, I could only get 30 days and extended for another 30 days. There's no two-month stay visa on arrival. Unless the immigration policy has changed since I was there in August and September.

    Funny thing happened to me. In 2022 I went with my wife for an extended, work/vacation stay. We stayed about 40 days at our house in Chonburi. Was a great vacation and I was able to work from there as well. For some reason they gave me a 45 day visa stamp in my passport. Fast forward to 2023 and my wife was very ill so I took her to Thailand again and worked and took her to doctors etc... I didn't realize the stamp in my passport was only 30 days. I assumed it would be like the last time. I was also quite overwhelmed due to the nature of our trip back to Thailand to help my wife get healthy. Long story short I got dinged for a 12 day overstay. A nasty surprise for sure.

    Hello Brother ; Thank you for the information you gave; Question ; You mentioned that you can stay in Thailand for 6 months out of a year with a tourist visa; Regarding the multi-entry visa, how many times do you leave Thailand and return again? If you leave Thailand 3 times in 6 months and come back, you can stay in this way for another 3 months or 6 months; Or can you stay for only 6 months with any tourist visa, normal or multiple?

    • @LiveLoveThailand
      @LiveLoveThailand  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The answer is in the description check it thank you

    • @auwz66
      @auwz66 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      The short answer is the 6 month multiple entry is valid for 60 days at a time however it can be extended by 30 days (for a fee). So at the end of the 6 months, the day before it expires if you re-enter you get another 60 days as they stamp you in for 60 days at a time. Then you can extend that stamp by 30 days. Which means you can stay (give or take a few days) 9 months total. When I say "stay" you do have to leave and re-enter during that time (by air) but your total time could be around 9 months if you time it correctly.

    • @steve-o2198
      @steve-o2198 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@auwz66do you think immigration would start asking questions if you keep doing border runs every 60 days and stay for 9 months? I applied for my multiple entry visa the other day, still waiting, for the financial evidence I don't have £5,000 in my normal daily use account, I only have that and much more in a fast access savings account, do you think that may be a problem?

    • @auwz66
      @auwz66 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@steve-o2198 So long as you have physical access to the money and you can show £5,000 (per person) for the last 6 months then the visa should be ok. Re the border runs, its fine as it has to be by air. So you have to factor in that cost too though. For a 9 month stay you basically do 3 trips out of Thailand. You do 3x60 days and then on your last 60 you do a 1900thb extension of 30 days so your last stay is 90 days. HTH

    • @sarlina1
      @sarlina1 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@auwz66 You only need to do border runs 2 times to get 9 months of stay. Each stay of 60 days can be extended by 30 days. 3 times 90 days, 2 border runs.
