How would anyone guess closing apps, which I had no idea were open, would cause pictures not to send. I have been searching non-stop to resolve this ongoing issue. You are miracle workers - Just think something posted in 2018 still works today!!!!
Reset network settings worked for me! I tried everything else first and did this as a last resort. Thanks for the clear instructions in this video. This was a frustrating problem as I send pictures via text a lot for work. Hopefully resetting the network settings won’t cause any other issues.

You guys want to make this understandable to the masses? Have 1 expert explaining to a novice. Explain it to a person over 60. Good teachers explain things at the students level.
For anyone reading the comments before they try these - logging in and out of iMessage is what fixed it for me immediately. It's not as much of a pain as they make it out to be - it didn't even ask me for a password. After you log back in, restart your phone.

Question about sending a video from iPhone to someone with a Samsung, The last time I checked I could not send a video longer than 13 seconds if it was someone who does not also have an iPhone. Do you know if this has changed or is going to change with an update? Or is it a problem on Samsung’s end?
Here's how I fixed mine. I've had MSM turned on the whole time but it still wouldn't send. I went into settings, messages and turned MSM off. Then I tried sending a photo in text. I immediately got a notice saying I needed to turn MSM on so I went back into settings, messages and turned MSM back on. I tried again to text a photo and this time it worked. Weird. I honestly think my attempt at sending with MSM turned off, prompted the error pop up and somehow triggered my phone to work properly.

I am having this problem I'm trying to send someone a text message that has a picture with it and it's saying unable to send try again and I click try Again and it just does the same issue over and over saying unable to send and it never gets sent to the person I'm trying to send it to but when I send regular text messages without pictures it sends perfectly why is this happening

Dude, I seriously can’t thank you enough I’ve had a bug where i can’t send pictures that are less than a day old for over six months to a year.

Fixed my problem!!! My carrier should watch your video. 🥰. They were not even considering this avenue.
