this deck is so fun in theory, but i just matched up against 10 harpie / magnum sevens road decks in a row. youre so right when you said its like you dont even have a skill against them. it feels so frustrating to have those decks get to do their skill every turn while youre just twiddling your fingers with a gaia ): against every other deck tho this deck is a blast
"Where are the Other Buster Bladers?" Technically, we only have one Boss Monster for Buster Blader and that's it. Please note that Speed Deck (the Deck used by the Character that uses Buster Blader) has not been printed. It's curious that Konami has never made a complete Buster Blader Deck when it had the opportunity to do so. The good Five-Headed Dragon Deck feels like a complete Deck compared to Buster Blader in real Rush Duels. About this version of the Buster Blader Deck, it feels like it's close to greatness, but that greatness can result in a pretty oppressive and difficult Deck to beat (again, we don't have many viable ways to remove/destroy Monsters). Any Deck that can carry the Trio of Trap Cards is already a little higher than the average Rogue Deck. Buster Blader Deck also has the advantage of its main bad matchups not being Meta at this point (related to the Skill) While it has poor matchups against Meta Decks and Maximum Decks, this Deck is ironically the savior of the Ladder: many people complained about the presence of too many Rush's Blue-Eyes and Dragias. Therefore, this Deck comes as a solution to face those Decks. Man, Konami is doing everything possible so that Spellcaster and Dragias Deck are not Meta or do not have a presence in Rush's Duel Links (which is contrary to Dragoncaster Deck which was a Tier 0 for more than 1 year)
I predicted BB would actually come earlier than this as a deterrent to Dragias and the dragon decks that were terrorizing the meta at the time, but he finally made it!
As I mentioned in the video, the deck really doesn't need it with the other tools we have available. The other options are including a sub-par engine and use their s/t removal or include Avian which can be clunky and takes up precious limit 3 slots.
@@LaCharcadeFroggy-Oh I've found that ends up being more a gimmick than a strong play. Swift Gaia usually doesn't require much effort to make it's way onto the board.

what's the aggro MU like? assuming this just floors it the second you see buster blader?
I couldn't tell you, but knowing that Dragias is always everywhere (especially on the Ladder), is an advantage for Buster Blader Deck.
In general BB should have the advantage, but Aggro decks do tend to be on 2/3 TSA and often times TttD so they can out the BB itself quite easily.
Man Buster Blader is not a good deck without Legendary Swordsmen Buster Blader
Yeah I don't see it winning any tournaments, but it's still decent into other low tier decks.
I test it out and its eh its missing some more Buster Blader support and skill restriction is kinda eh
