listening to this quickly in a row was tough and really highlighted how bad our charts have become. Most Songs in the latter half just sounded the same and germany (outside Rammstein) is not producing any international hits anymore

@@LucifenaQuinnfühl ich. Wobei ich finde die Szene erholt sich langsam. Gelegentlich sind paar dabei die sich ganz gut ertragen lassen
@@Lourex29 ja es gibt durchaus annehmbare Lieder, aber wenn ich sowas wie Mero oder Capital hören muss wünsche ich mir taub zu sein

Ich frag mich immernoch wie wir von Adel Tawil, Sido, Nena, Yvonne etc zu diesem Müll kommen konnten, alles Möchtegerns mit Mietwagen die meinen sie wären die größten und könnten jede haben, die Mädchen die auf sowas stehen sind es eh nicht wert

to give you my perspective as a German from the late 90´s - I think in the year 2016 was the funeral of the German music branche. Since then was there not a single good song in the charts which deserves "titled" as music. Rap is in general in my view not condidered as music. its pure garbage.
I think it has slowly been recovering tho!

Who are you to say that rap music is no music. It may not be your taste of music but it's not your decision to tell what's music or not. Rap music slowly became the new pop music and so is techno right now. As everything else music changes by time.

There was still great german music after 2016, but unfortunately not in the Top 50s. Rap got way more popular than other genres. But if you take a look at Spotify Playlists like the one called "German Indie Aesthetics ♫" there was (and is) still great german music coming out.
Good Artists are for example: Provinz, LEA, SIND, Kraftklub and many more
Well, you definitely won't find real hip hop/rap in this video. The music that is commonly referred to as rap nowadays is mostly pure garbage and doesn't deserve to be called rap. There actually is rap out there that deserves to be called music, you just have to dig deeper and go back further in time. Given your age I can totally comprehend your view.
