I like this this very much , simple and does what you want it for , since I rent I like a loft I can put on my trailer and take it with me so this is very ideal for me. Great job buddy .👍
I've been thinking about getting a small pigeon hobby going, and this would be perfect, especially for a more calm environment like I have here in the Oregon coastal range. Growing up in Montana, I do sometimes miss all that snow!
Hi: If you build it on the coast I'd recommend you bring the edges of the roof out another foot or more in the back where you stand. Keeps the rain off your neck!
Hi Paul: Depending on where you live you can find pigeon organizations online. They have options for new members, lists of clubs, etc and can steer you in the right direction. Some people race, some raise show birds and others just like to keep pigeons around. Good luck in your research.
Thank you for your efforts in education for the novice in this Noble hobby... What is your thoughts on using cat litter or wood shavings on the floor of the coop for sanitation ?
Most amazing member of the avian kingdom. But familiarity breeds contempt. Whether they are wild in the city or pampered pets they all deserve our respect. I started as a 10 year old catching ferals and it lead me into knowing so much about birds, nature and life in general. Thanks for your comment.
Hit a couple of pigeons with my truck. They fly straight into my path. Sorry dude :/ Now a baby pigeon fell on my truck and I'm having the dilemma whether to leave it or take care of it. But it's about 3 weeks old.
If it has a band on you can find the bird's owner. If it is a baby feral pigeon you may be able to find an animal rehabber who can help you. The animal shelter near you may know. If it fell out of a nest and it's parents are around you can probably leave it. If not then you can care for it until it's old enough to release.
Your loft is pretty good. Guy that bird should have been in quarantine. You are doing well, good job. Keep more videos coming.
Stumbled upon this by accident... I'm in Montana too! :D

What is the difference of a kit box and a loft?
Almost any house for PIGEON's can be called a loft but a kit box is for a team of rollers. Usually 20 of them in a small house with perches.
Can the pigeons live in the kit box their whole life?
I LOVE IT VERY MUCH ! THANKS!!
Nice!
The trap came from www.foyspigeonsupplies.com/ but I'm not sure they still sell it.
