Honestly, he's a much better character if you don't romance him, because he has one of the best loyalty missions, and there's something to be said about a disillusioned Alliance soldier getting sick of the red tape, joining Cerberus, realizing how evil they really are, and putting his life on the line for the scientists like he did in 3. And I really did like that moment you pointed out where he decided to be honest with Shepard about working for Cerberus back at Project Lazarus because he deserved to know.

If didn’t do Grissom mission in time Jack would’ve been captured. A console at the station reveals she got tortured and later we see she got turned into a Cerberus phantom enemy unit u have to face. And if never activated Legion in ME2 he’s also an enemy unit
Too late to let you know now, but the ammo capacity upgrade is MASSIVELY beneficial to the Lancer. Lets you shoot way more shots without overheating. As is the stability upgrade, since the Lancer has a lot more recoil than most ARs.
Btw funny anecdote but I grew up with the French dub so I was very disappointed when I finally played in English to find out that Shepard doesn’t use the quarian word “Bosh’tet” when he/she learns that the illusive man warned the reapers of the citadel being the Catalyst and only says “Damn it” as someone who loves tali you would’ve loved to hear your Shepard say that I think 😂
Btw, Andromeda isn't Mass Effect 4, it's a spinoff. They clearly planned sequels for it, but the game was so unpopular that nothing came out of it. I also don't think they're gonna make a true sequel. This story gets wrapped up, and to say that the ending was divisive would be an understatement. Referring to it directly seems very risky. PS. I'm being vague to avoid spoilers.

Here is my take on Andromeda: As a long time fan of ME1-3 I hated Andromeda plain and simple but only because it wasn't Shepard, once I got over that( years later) I found it to be a serviceable game. I am still not a fan of it and I think Bioware really underestimated how much we as fans of the ME universe love Shepard and the crew of the Normandy.
I didn't really miss Shepard. To me, her story was done, that's it. I think the problems ran on a more foundational level. EA had run several successful DLCs on ME3, and they were like "Surely we can carve even more content out of a game to be sold later. Surely that won't be an issue." So they cut out some of the major factions (at least Quarians, I forget who else) from the game, and they were clearly meant to populate the two largest maps that were way too empty on launch. It was also a more ensemble-driven game, so it was really important to have a strong cast, but it really isn't. And to make matters worse, there's only one alien race, and it's too human. If you think about Salarians, they're hyperactive because of their short lifespan and stealthy because they're not physically strong. Turians are space Romans. Asari are single gender, and species-agnostic, so that creates avenues for some interesting reflections on our society. The new species is just... Australians. And the story doesn't obey a standard structure, because while there's buildup, there's no real payoff. No mysteries are solved, and no threats have been defeated. If anything, all of this is basically stuff we learn from the Codex in earlier Mass Effect games. Information that propels us into action. And some of it is just... BioWare nonsense. Like the whole "You have a unique power but OH NO there's a catch and you'll have to play 60 hours to know what it is!" thing. Ironically it's not that bad in ME, but since I played Baldur's Gate, Jade Empire and KOTOR (and maybe Dragon Age: Oriigns had it too?), I'm just so over it. It can be a decent seasoning, but it won't carry a story for me anymore. I don't hate Andromeda, but it was clearly gutted by a cynical intent to monetize its vital organs, and an inexperienced team lacking direction. There's a lot of cool stuff, but there's too much bland padding, waiting to be fleshed out for money.
Here we go! Time to the big finale! These last few Citadel encounters and final Cerberus mission before Earth are great! (Fun fact: If you bring your romance to the Cerberus Headquarters, there's some extra dialogue too) I'm really hyped for the start of Dragon Age Origins and, eventually, Mass Effect Andromeda! Glad the DA community is coming in clutch with the support, hopefully you won't deal with too much negativity towards Veilguard or even Inquisition when it releases on TH-cam. And I know you're gonna love the combat and exploration in Andromeda, and the characters might surprise like some did for me. And I played on PS4, so you might have a even better experience if you use the many enhancement mods on PC!

In ME3 Tali and Garrus develop a romantic relationship with each other culminating to this point. That's why I cannot romance none of those two people, because it feels, that they are meant for each other more, than with Shepard, especially after watching the romantic movie with Tali on the Citadel DLC, where also a Turian and a Quarian were lovers. This is also the reason I commented on your previous video, that isn't enough for you that you stole Tali from Garrus, you interfered in their relationship, you thought about going after Joker's girlfriend too.😂 7:33 Jacob is definitely the worst romance option, because he dumps Shepard in ME3 over that chick even if Shepard romances him. Oh, man... On to the endgame. As for Andromeda, it has a great story, with bad storytelling. It has the absolute best combat in the series. Get the service pack mod, get the vehicle mods, and I think you'll have a really great time. The story will be fine. The combat will be amazing. Peanut butter Bellasario will either be an instant love, or you'll find her incredibly annoying (I'm in the love her camp). I look forward to watching you play it.
