Hi both ❤ - sous vide saved the day -- Graham the beef joint turned out great - it looked tender and a good price in your butchers - your roast dinners never fail to make me jealous - wanting to make a roast ❤❤❤
Hi Pauline, I can’t really explain how good it turned out. I had no idea it would be so good unless it was just a good piece of meat. You know it was good when Wendy wants me to do a sous vide pork fillet today. You could always drive for hours to get here but then we would have to go out because I would talk you to a stand still. 😂😂😂😂🥰😍❤️😘
The meat looks perfect Graham,I've never used sous vide on my Instant Pot as I've never really had the opportunity to do so but if I ever forget to put the meat out the freezer for the next day at least I know I can cook it with confidence using that function, another great video guys
Hi Richard, I never knew anything about it until we got the cosori pressure cooker. One of the chefs in the family explained what it was about. I’ve used it a few times now and I think it great just not what we’re used to. Forgetting the joint was a problem as fast thawing ruins the meat. This worked out lovely and when we had it cold the next day it just melted in your mouth. Thank you Richard 👍
Hi Graham and Wendy, that’s looks great I like my beef a little pink inside. Hope you both keeping well. I feel so much better and the cough is so much better each day. From Linda C ❤😊
Hi Linda, I think it looked a little pinker than it was but it was so nice. Is it safe to send a kiss now your not coughing so much 🥰😍😘 love Graham and Wendy
Hi Steve, it works fantastic as a pressure cooker, slow cooker and sous vide. Once it’s running it very easy on the electric. I can’t see why you shouldn’t have one. Except it’s another item but you do a lot of cooking. 👏👏👏👍 If you use our link that would be great 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Might have been better to preheat the oven as meat contracts with changes in temp which makes it tough. Like the idea of trying it though and I’ve got the same equipment as you so cheers for showing us this. Looks delish!
Hi Nicola, that’s a very good point. Why did I not think of that at the time 🤷♂️. To be honest I was sure it would be ok but it was. I’m really taken with this sous vide. It’s so flexible. I cooked two cheap close to date steak last week and they were fantastic in the sous vide. 😍🥰❤️😘👍
Hi Joy, the meat doesn’t look very appetising until you brown it a little but when you cut it wow. It’s so nice, juicy and cooked the same all the way through. Plus it’s so easy 🥰😍❤️😘👌
hi wendy and graham ,that beef is fantastic looking. was it really nice and tender, graham you certainly have some handy machines around you. you saved the day. it all came together nicely. i wonder how low a temperature my ninja goes, ill have to investigate as petes always forgetting to take the joint out, one sunday we ended up having fish fingers. that was a surprise as ive only seen fins on them up till now , love to you both enjoy your mealx
Hi Grace, it was a good piece of meat. I did it for 3 hours and I wonder what it would be like after 4 hours. After all it was frozen. A quick blast in the air fryer finished it off. I’ve done the same thing many times, it is strange calling them fish fingers. Mind you we had some large cod balls the other week and that must have been one massive male cod 😂😂😂😂😂😘😍🥰❤️
Hello mate, that's a lovely bit of topside and for £6 and few pence that's a bargain and a nice piece of fat added 😋, if i sous vide a joint i use a large saucepan and attach my sous vide machine to the side of it and turn it on and go to work and i would normally leave a joint that size that you cooked for about 10 to 12 hours as with sous vide it's impossible to over cook it as when it reaches the temperature that you have set it can't possibly go above that because the heat is not going to increase unless you change the temperature on the sous vide, a brilliant review again mate and a nice way to get up on a Sunday morning and watch you and you have a relaxing voice 😊, mmmm a nice cold beef sandwich lol your making me hungry, all the best to you both 👋👋👋👋👋👋👌👌👌👌🍻🙏
Hi Sean I’ve told you before what a big help you are and you’ve done it again mate. I’ve read that it can’t over cook but if you tell me then I’m happy. That beef was so good and when we had it the next day it just melted in your mouth. I look at the sous vide machines and they’re not cheap but it’s looking a good way to cook. It must be good because Wendy’s got me doing a small pork fillet today. A mate tells me I could put a glass eye to sleep so don’t get too relaxed mate. Thanks again Sean. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👌👍
@@grahamgetsabout2672 lol 🤣🤣🤣you're mate is very true at putting people to sleep lol, there not to bad to buy you can pick up a cheaper one for around £30 that's what i paid and it's been going for years but the branded names I'd stay away from because they do exactly the same thing, the big difference with a sous vide machine is that it constantly keeps the water moving around and that's very important to help with the perfect no small hot spots and it does speed up the cooking time a bit but sous vides our like a pressure cooker as you use one you will start allowing for the pressure to build up and it's the same with sous vide after a while you start automatically thinking ahead of time for when to put it on rather than a spur of the moment, I bet it was nice the next day too 😋, both of you enjoy your Sunday, cheers mate 👋👋👋👋👋👌👌👌🍻🙏

Would love to try Sous Vide but my instant pot does not have this feature if my instant pot gives up will look for a pressure cooker that can do sous vide. Keep the videos coming you and Wendy are amazing ❤
Hi Julie, thank you for putting your name at the end. I sat here thinking it’s Julie I think no noticing you extra comment. You see the kind of fool your dealing with 🤪🤪🤪🤪 Sous vide is new to us as well but we’re loving it. If the insta pot packs up please remember our links on Amazon. I hope you don’t mind us using the sous vide as we do mix it up a little 😍🥰❤️😘👍

@@stevebuik657 hi Steve, after checking the temperature of the meat after opening the bag I think I would give it 4 hours then the air fryer. We thought it looked a little pale on the video but it didn’t on our plates. I think it was the lighting. We had it cold the next day and it just melted in your mouth. 👌👍 I would like to know how you get on please. It was a revelation to me but I guess at 65c it thawed out steadily so wasn’t tough. 👍
