The white pipe reflects sunlight better allowing it to be able to sit outside longer in turn if black pipe sits outside because it can’t be layed due to weather it will eventually rot and go bad but with white pipe you can keep it for years on end due to it reflecting sunlight rather then absorbing it. It also makes it easier to see when digging out start holes and when laying tile later in the evening or at night on these shorter days. For us it’s mainly just user preference there is no price difference or quality difference at first just strictly what suits us best
