Read the Quran from cover to cover, and when you are done, restart reading again. your doubts will be gone because the Quran is a means of guidance, healing and inspiration. If you have doubts seek the knowledge. If you can't find it just say "Amantu Billah". And don't think about that doubt. Just Believe in Allah and His Massenger (SAW). Pray to Allah(SWT) to remove the burden from your heart.Your problems will be solved In sha Allah.
In this modern era fitnah's are very common. Don't just always find reasoning. Faith in Allah is that you believe in Him(SWT) without seeing Him(SWT). So just believe. This is one of your tests. It's easier to believe than always questioning. Shaytan will always question you. Don't listen to that outcast. You just close your eyes and say I believe in Allah(SWT) and His Massenger (SAW).

Well I guess the reason for doubt must be looked into and investigated. Same goes for the so called Christian. The religion is merely rituals and dogma. Actual everyday living involves the release of dogma form all perspectives, the thorough study of the scriptures and the interpretation revealed in reality. Truth and reality contain no contradiction, ornamentation, or interpretation.

@LearningG By looking for the truth. Go and search. Don't waste your time because life is too short. Millions of people come and go, thinking they mean something but in reality this world is just a test, a temporary one at that, yet look around and you'll see many failing and falling into the trap of shaytaan, they commit sins thinking no one is watching. Do you really believe that? That there will be no justice for those who died looking for it? Or that everything in this world wasn't created by an almighty creator? There are answers everywhere but we just turn a blind eye to them. I was born a muslim but I had questions, I sought answers myself and now I'm at so much peace and in my heart I know that islam is the only true religion. May Allah help you too. Ameen

    • @norah945

@LearningG As for other religions, I might not be too knowledgeable in comparative studies, but I know enough to know the right path. For example, in Buddhism, do you think a God made of stone by your own hands is the real God? Similarly in Hinduism too, create something with your own hands and then pray in front of it and ask it to bless you or help you, does it even make sense? As for Christianity, it is quite similar to islam in some ways but do you really think God the almighty would have a child? God is not a human (Nauzubillah) as for Bible, then in reality there were books from Allah, namely Torah (tawruf), Zabur (Psalms) and Injeel (Gospel) but people made changes in those and that's why Allah sent Quran, the unchanged word of Allah which will remain till this world ends (Qayamat) and guide people to islam till that day. Hopefully you and I will both be on the right path.
Now someone might ask how I know Islam is the right religion etc then I have many many answers but one I'd quote here is actually from Quran itself.
There's a verse in Quran which says : ‘If all mankind and the jinn would come together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce its like even though they exerted all and their strength in aiding one another.’” (Quran 17:88)

@LearningG I'm not much familiar with sikhs but from what I searched, they believe that the creator and creation are one and the same thing. Do you really think that could be the case? How could Allah and his attributes not be separate from creation? He is not like the creation in any way whatsoever.

The key to such queries is the nature of words such as "The answer" as though there is only one absolute enduring and inviolate Truth. @@sonus89 one of the travesties of the Christian religion was the promotion of Reason and Intellect to a position as sole arbiter of God's relationship to His Creation. Unfortunately this is very much like using a screwdriver to change a sparkplug. It's simply an inappropriate tool for the job. God who is All-compassionate and All-Merciful has determined many things that make no logical sense such as the existence of pain, evil, unhappiness, illness etc etc given His nature as All-powerful. Further, it follows logically for Man that if evil exists, then God must be evil. If Good exists then God must be Good. Neither is true as Man is the being who labels things good or bad. God presents us with His creation and identifies us as having a place in it. A Final Judgement will be made on us based on the content of our hearts in the service of God's creation. That also is not logical. What you said is very true. God forbids things but still allows their existence or we would be unable to demonstrate our bonding to His Will using His gift of Free Choice.
