Doug Carter is the definition of a hero. He never stopped and stuck with this horrible crime till he could bring justice to the victims and their families. I love that he also isn’t afraid of his emotions. He was always professional and didn’t let his emotions affect the investigation, but you can see how important the victims, the families, and his community are to him. When she asked about Kline DC said "Im not going to comment on anyone associated with this case" did he mean that in general i.e wont discuss if others involved OR was he stating Kline IS involved but will not discuss it.
It's good people kept an interest in this case too. In such a small town sometimes cases that are as complex as this one, they just give up. But LE used every available resource and kept quiet even against criticism to follow through and not give up. Kudos to all of them. And also because of this case they captured many other child predators too thank God🙏

The family went in there for the photos; it’s the only pharmacy in town; he doesn’t own it, he’s just an employee; he just didn’t charge them, ‘on the house’; it’s a town of less than 3,000, everyone knows everyone. Let’s wait for the complete picture before judging it
Why would Carter have to know that he gave them free photos ? The family wasn’t aware , and apparently the entire town didn’t know that he was the murderer. I think many photo labs would have did this as well . I’m more on the side of how his wife didn’t know or at least suspect him ? The blue jacket / hat / shoes / gait / was off work / or took off . He committed himself to a mental health facility days after . I think she knew , bargained back and forth and didn’t want her world turned upside down. Then to delete all of 2017 FB posts to protect him is very damning . She wasn’t aware LE had already obtained everything from the entire family before the arrest . How could the neighbors not report him wearing that jacket ? Probably because he didn’t fit the sketches , the video makes him taller

This officer very much seems like a straight arrow--possibly the straighest arrow in law enforcement I've seen in an interview. He seems like a realky, genuinely good guy.
Took them almost 6 years to catch Allen/ look over his file again when he lived miles away from the scene and fit the profile?! Yeah these cops are down bad. Their words say they were trying hard but actions show obviously not. It’s a really bad look
If law enforcement hasn’t looked allready they should look into bridge creek. Bridge creek provides cover and is a direct route back to his house. 1.5 mile walk. Gives him a place to clean up and change his clothes before he went home. If this guy likes to hike he would have traveled this route many times. It also gives him access to watch people crossing the bridge when ever he wanted while waiting for the opportunity he wanted. This was basically his backyard. Bridge creek enters deer creek just on the west side of the high bridge. On the east side of the high bridge I believe there to be a dry creek bed that once flowed from bridge creek and may still flow with high waters. Giving him easy access back to his route home. I also suspect the girls may have seen him down below by the creek while they walked across the bridge making him suspicious enough to videotape when he crossed the bridge following them.
Mate this is something you should note/inform the police about, i had chills down my spine as you wrote that you suspected that they already had seen him down the Creek as they were passing the bridge!

The arrest did change the community. We had a walk on the trails on Saturday. There were families and kids enjoying the trail. We haven't seen that in years.

Great interview! The journalist done a great job.
It's good people kept an interest in this case too. In such a small town sometimes cases that are as complex as this one, they just give up. But LE used every available resource and kept quiet even against criticism to follow through and not give up. Kudos to all of them. And also because of this case they captured many other child predators too thank God🙏
He is just busting at the seams with joy at giving this family some hope for Justice and peace. 😊

This was a bungling bumbling fiasco of a case. This superintendent cries and whispers too much.
He does his job and does it well. From the beginning and he's not done yet. Like a dog with a bone even through the ridicule, criticism and put downs. He makes no secret that this is meaningful, emotional and always a priority in every way to him. So if you need to degrade anyone, look to the one who committed the crime as well as a good long look in a mirror at your own self.

How could the police not know that the alleged killer gave the family free photos?
The family went in there for the photos; it’s the only pharmacy in town; he doesn’t own it, he’s just an employee; he just didn’t charge them, ‘on the house’; it’s a town of less than 3,000, everyone knows everyone. Let’s wait for the complete picture before judging it

Why would Carter have to know that he gave them free photos ? The family wasn’t aware , and apparently the entire town didn’t know that he was the murderer. I think many photo labs would have did this as well .
I’m more on the side of how his wife didn’t know or at least suspect him ? The blue jacket / hat / shoes / gait / was off work / or took off . He committed himself to a mental health facility days after . I think she knew , bargained back and forth and didn’t want her world turned upside down.
Then to delete all of 2017 FB posts to protect him is very damning . She wasn’t aware LE had already obtained everything from the entire family before the arrest .
How could the neighbors not report him wearing that jacket ? Probably because he didn’t fit the sketches , the video makes him taller

What a day it has been, my friends. I felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster ride! Anyone else feel that way? Special thanks to TCG for having a safe place that allows us practice free speech and vent how we feel and see things. So many channels don't allow us that right anymore. Took them almost 6 years to catch Allen/ look over his file again when he lived miles away from the scene and fit the profile?! Yeah these cops are down bad. Their words say they were trying hard but actions show obviously not. It’s a really bad look
He's a great man. Thank God he's in charge of this case and getting justice for two lovely girls who would have made a difference in the world.
If law enforcement hasn’t looked allready they should look into bridge creek. Bridge creek provides cover and is a direct route back to his house. 1.5 mile walk. Gives him a place to clean up and change his clothes before he went home. If this guy likes to hike he would have traveled this route many times. It also gives him access to watch people crossing the bridge when ever he wanted while waiting for the opportunity he wanted. This was basically his backyard. Bridge creek enters deer creek just on the west side of the high bridge. On the east side of the high bridge I believe there to be a dry creek bed that once flowed from bridge creek and may still flow with high waters. Giving him easy access back to his route home.
I also suspect the girls may have seen him down below by the creek while they walked across the bridge making him suspicious enough to videotape when he crossed the bridge following them.
Mate this is something you should note/inform the police about, i had chills down my spine as you wrote that you suspected that they already had seen him down the Creek as they were passing the bridge!

The arrest did change the community. We had a walk on the trails on Saturday. There were families and kids enjoying the trail. We haven't seen that in years.
They should have answered these questions at the press conference so people don't have to search for it.
He knows that Ron Logan was with Richard Alan but he doesn't want to complicate the case I'm willing to bet that it was Ron Logan you see other bridge and Richard Allen's voice saying down the hill
