I'm in my 40s and I still remember this man clearly coming to my school when I was in primary school; in the early 80s. They will put all our tables together in making stage for staged dramas. Still looking good and vibrant. I remember one of his TV dramas, contesting with Goroso on who would marry the Kings daughter. Olaiya dana Oba! Powerful love drama. This man has been on stage for decades. Keep on shinning
Correct! They tied Olaiya to a three and he was crying 'iya mi o!' and Goroso said 'se iwo ri iya kan nibi?'. Finally Olaiya was rescued by his mother's ghost and freed from captivity of Goroso. Where is Goroso now because no mention of his name came up here. I tried to follow Goroso's career a bit and the last I knew of him was when he acted in Saworo ide where his family was exterminated by the king because he came from royal home. Goroso and Olaiya were 5 and 6 then and they ignited my childhood curiosity and fond memories I grew up with. Keep enjoying life, legend.

I felt sad about the piracy of his film that he spent a lot of money producing,the piracy laws need to be seriously reviewed. While piracy may not be the totally eradicated it can be greatly reduced if all the stakeholders come together and tackle the menace head on it is a form of economic crime.
