Should the Legend of Zelda Movie Feature Link and Zelda?

Nintendo recently announced the development of a live-action Legend of Zelda movie. Many assume it will be tell the story (or a story) of Link and Zelda. Would that really be best? Maybe Nintendo has other plans. Let's discuss.

I think its fascinating to consider what could be done and what actually will happen. I agree fully that exploration beyond link and zelda would bring more meat and potatoes to a lasting franchise beyond a single movie. Yet the assumption is a focus on what has been a part of the story line since I was a kiddo will also stick. Hope for a good movie!

I doubt we'll see it keep both Zelda AND Link out of a Live-Action, but honestly i do hope we don't have Link, i doubt it, but i do think a Zelda movie either tying into a game concept lead up or Starring Zelda is made... Honestly THIS would be a great movie to conceptually make Tie-in Streaming "games", like BotW had its memories of the Calamity, make a movie be the tragedy and the "game" be us as Link choosing our own ending/path to it with a "season" of "decisions/episodes".
