Well, the problem is the clip ended too early. Suzie's father said she took an IQ test and was rated a genius. She played dumb the whole time to lull Duquette and Lombardo into dropping their guards. Very clever plot twist.
@@Goremachine I think that's from the deleted scenes......they left it out not because of the incest implications, but because that will give Suzy a LEGAL REASON to get the $$ from the Van Ryan's family (her being Sandra's half sister)........this way looks more like she just played eveyone else in a random situation.
Yeah, they did themselves little favor with the (admittedly amazing) nude shots and wet t-shirts on the main actresses...made folks put the movie into a different category.

You ended the video too early. The kickers continue as the old Moll shares that the kid was a genius and accomplished sailor and OMG what a great reveal! One of the best twists of all times. Great movie, I've watched it a dozen times
From what I heard Matt Dillon was so pissed that he said no to pulp fiction and didn't get it. That when this was offered to him, he took it thinking it be the twist movie of all twist movies, so he asked his mate Murray to get on board
The funny thing is she pulled a "Billy" 😂. In Scream he played dead for a little bit and then revealed he wasn't when falling down the stairs, lol. In this movie Suzie (Neve) fakes her death until she reveals at the end that she wasn't, lol.
Suzie played Sam perfectly - she knew he was a sailing instructor who hipped clueless high school kids as to what's what in the world of boating and that he enjoyed dispensing his superior knowledge from the position of relaxed wise mentor. To get him to drink the poison, she just femininely nudged his mind to where it wanted to go anyway. Easy-peasy.
I think the point of the scene is that she planned ahead. He DIDN'T drink the poison in that drink. He'd been drinking or eating the poison bit by bit leading up to them going sailing in previous meals. She just knew exactly how much to use to get the timing right.
It was on Netflix this summer and I watched it for the first time. The only thing I knew about it was the sex scene. The movie was actually a decent drama and had a few twists and a great cast. Bill Murry plays his part perfectly as the lawyer.
Underrated. Love this movie. Most people can't get past the titillating girl-on-girl and titty scenes, but that's part of the point... she knew those men would underestimate her and/or be distracted by sex.
Great movie. Great plot ... and then another ... and then another. Everybody was planning something with everybody. Even Bill Murray was involved. 9 out of 10 points for this masterpiece..........
@@paulkatz2483 Well, the thing is Neve's character was in cahoots with him too. She was using Denise Richards' character to screw the mother out of her money and trust fund. Once she got her hands on that, she pulled Murray's character in and bribed him with some of the money to get help setting up everything right down to the last murder. I recommend you watch the movie. Oh, and remember, watch everything including the end credits. It answers all your questions.
In the deleted scene, it was revealed that Susie was the half sibling to Sandra Van Ryan. So Susie and Kelly were Aunt and Niece. The whole revenge plot was not just about Lombardo and Duquette; it was about the Van Ryan’s not acknowledging her as family bc her mom was from the wrong side of the tracks. So she got rid of the men that did her dirty and put the crime on the accepted Van Ryan and Sandra would forever face humiliating; have a husband that committed suicide and a daughter that lied under oath filing false claims against a teacher that had an affair with her mom, that committed homicide and shot dead by police. And got away with A nice trust, she used that IQ Of over 200 to her advantage real well.

Why did Sam keep talking about Kelly? I never understood if he actually felt something for her or not, he wasn't that happy on the boat... Maybe he wanted to escape with Kelly and the money but the problem was Suzy was the mastermind of the plan... I feel bad for Gloria 😅 at the end she kind of realized what was going on but there was nothing she could do!
they should have billed the whole cast in alphabetical order in the opening credits; having Campbell as one of only three people before the title rather gave things away, as did the publicity shots of her in the blond wig
