  • We've tried a few ways of mounting an action camera on our board and none have worked well. So we decided to make one and finally, we have a design that does everything we want.
We use a GoPro Max 360 camera but the mount would work with any Action Camera with Tripod or Go Pro mount.
I already had everything I needed but here are some links in case you need anything. A pound shop is probably the better choice for the chopping board, EVA Tiles, luggage straps and Adhesive.

This is a great idea. Have you tried putting the metal parts under the paddleboard, so that they could not hurt you if you fell or would that damage the paddleboard/affect the stability?

Hi, it would probably have limited impact if they were under the board, but I think it would be better to pad them with some foam rather than put them under the board.

@@ExploreVanUK Thanks. I'm just waiting for my insta 360 x4 to arrive. Then I will have a go. I saw this video th-cam.com/video/CHyrZmGl8do/w-d-xo.html where someone used an extended selfie stick with a clamp to angle it up. I might try and combine your idea with his so that the selfie stick is on a ballhead attached to your base. Might then be more stable than just using your foot as in his video.

I would protect the metal parts, if you fell on them...
