Thank you @ParagonFragrances ! Accidentally doxed myself with my box the first upload of this video and would've left my address up there had it not been for Nate helping me out! Appreciate you Nate, thank you! Go and check out his channel everyone, amazing high quality videos, editing, and fragrance content!
It’s finally good to see you reviewed the fragrance by Caron I was very curious about, sounds like a very good masculine a bit of old school scent which I do like. That was a good deal even though it has been used, and also Jean Paul Gaultier Le Make Le Parfum is my favourite. I also bought it with my discount coupon last month and I’m so happy that I did picked that up. I like it more than Ultramale and original Le Male. I still have the vintage Rive Gauche in that cylinder spray, quite spicy fougère which I still adore but sadly it’s coming down closer to the bottom of the barrel… Your new Rive Gauche sounds like it’s more fresher take on original, I suppose. Thanks for the nice review!
Yeah I hear the tin bottle Gauche had that little bit of more anise and darker components so I may try to find a bottle of it eventually but very happy with this fresher la collection version. Amazing shaving cream outdoorsy feel to it! And the Caron is quite magical, the oak and cypress add a nice more mature vibe to it compared to others in the same wheelhouse for sure. And juice level looked less than 2mls were missing so yeah definitely great deal for sure! Will look to get some more in depth reviews on these all as I get some more wears. Thanks for watching Hajime, much love
Yeah going to give the Le Male so more wearings. Liked the opening, very aromatic, but dry down starting to remind me of Rochas Man. Another crowd pleaser but a bit sweet for my personal tastes. THe Rive Gauche though has been really an enjoyable ride!
I've been very curious about the Caron; Le Troisieme Homme (sometimes listed as Le 3e Homme) is in my top 5 and one of my few year-rounders, and I've liked all of their men's scents to some degree, I'm almost a fanboy for the brand. I will admit that with all of the iris scents we've got in recent years I'm almost as burnt out on it as I've become to all of the Aventus-adjacent scents that we've seen in the past several years. But I have so much trust in Caron I might be getting it - especially if I can find a good price on a small bottle.
Definitely glad to have this one. I haven't tried much from the brand only own the OG, this Le Soir, Aimez Moi Comme Je Suis, and the Sport but I love all of them! Looking to the the 3e Homme and Yatagan next. This one is really nice though and while I too have been getting a bit burnt out with the iris flankers this one has some nice woody greenery from the cypress and oak that make it different and you do get that signature lavender from the OG Caron in here too that makes it a distinctive fragrance on its own feet as well. Still haven't even got a full wearing with this so take this all with a grain of salt but my first impressions were very good with it!
@@tzfragrance Aimez Moi Comme Je Suis absolutely amazed me - it's so very unique and it really goes through some changes as it evolves on my skin, so many I still haven't decided which seasonal bin to put it in - fraghead problems are still problems 😆 From Caron I love Yuzu man in summer as a very dry, woody citrus (almost dusty) even though like many citruses it's performance is not the best. In fall/winter L'Anarchiste is great (it's a metallic cinnamon with mint and base wood blend, really unique), in fact it was my morning scent today.
I see it gets compared to it on Fragrantica but I feel they are quite different. No lavender in the Prada for instance while it is a main player in the Caron.

Rive Gauche a reference barbershop for sure. Great pickup. The Le Male also very popular right now, but not really my thing.

Good job 👍🏼
CARON LE SOIR is it similar to prada black???
