It really is! And yeah, we considered rounding the edge but felt the sharp lines fit the aesthetic a bit better. Time will tell if that was a good decision haha 😅
I would get rid of all the sharp edges on the counter……you will thank me later. Also the over hang in the “hall” with counter is to wide…get rid of over hang
Another great video. It is all coming together and looking great. Can't wait for the next video.
Starting to really take shape! Surprised you didn’t round the corners of the counter. You WILL bang into that outer edge

Like the butcher block counter and matching table!😊
Thanks so much!!
always super impressed with your abilities!
Thanks!! Just trying to learn and do a better job every project 😁
Looks fantastic!!!
Lookin' great! Green grass looks good too! Solid 3' snow on our front lawn. (ref: Georgian Bay 10 min west of Midland)
Looks so good!
Thanks!!! It’s really starting to come together 😁
Dang I cut that piece of wood twice and it's still too short 😅😂😅😮
😂
Too late to help now but when you cut across the grain score the cut line with a razor knife to minimize splintering.
Did you weigh the van before you started? Curious how much weight you are adding and what is your vehicles Gross max allowable weight
A belt sander will shave that wood down in seconds! Building our sprinter now also! Looking good!! 🚐
Great tip!! Hope your build is going well!!
Water base polyurethane would be clear as water. It wouldn’t be orange.
We tried that, but felt that since this is a heavily used surface the oil based polyurethane would last longer. We hope there isn’t much upkeep!

I’ve been wondering about the weight for a few episodes now. You’re not going to win any drag races for sure.
