Nice review, thanks Derek. Spent some time in the regular Enyaq 80 on a trip home to the UK last month...preferred it to the ID.4 by some distance and glad to see the coupe seems to continue that quality.
@@NevoEVReviewIreland Us Yeti enthusiasts can only live in hope. It still ticks all the right boxes...nothing in their current range encourages me to sell my 1.4 L&K. A "YetE" maybe slightly larger to accommodate a decent sized long range battery would be great. Also interesting to see Kia going strong on the Yeti shape with the Soul ...EV4/5 and the huge EV9.
Nice drone footage, Derek. Were you sponsored by the Tourism Ireland?car looks great also, but the "packs" are what put me off last year when I went with the ioniq 5.
Bjorn Nyland has his banana box test Derek, what you need is a pram test. The very large deep boot in this car might well take a double pram and even a couple of bags from the shops which would sell it to a young family and would be the ultimate boot test. Doubt my leaf would take one maybe a single pram and some shopping making it less practical for some.
I wonder is this wider than the kia EV6. Need to do some research. We have an ev6, but it's a little tight for three kids in the back, so hoping the skoda enyaq or coupe is wider.......
They'll never ban them Wilko One, maybe tax on weight but it's the most popular form factor globally. The term "SUV" I think is more to do with the overall height
You talk about practically in the back but no one does practicality of parking, all those diagonal spaces you went past looked like you couldn't open the doors unless you were parked next to a bike if they were full, the thing barely fitted between the double yellows on the road (nice camera work). Can you take them to a parking bay and show us getting in and out in a car park, maybe even get ncp to let you in as its frustrating to say "it's more practical because this is wide(r) in the back" but it's at the cost of a wider car so it's not an improvement it's just growth (yeah fine I'm talking more about when car reviews say this model is better than the last because it's bigger and this is a new model but the point is there!)
Totally agree. Modern SUVs are not made for traditional parking spaces so I think moving forward we need to make larger spaces unfortunately as the cars are not going to get smaller
The car looks great, thanks for info Derek. Whilst the lights look great, how on earth did they make it into production. Just think of the amount of bumper corners that get scraped in multistorey carparks, that'll mean a new light light now, imagine the cost. Also, I don't see headlight washer jets anywhere, so the lights will be filthy given that they are lower down.
Hi EV Review Ireland, thank you for reviewing the Enyaq Coupé. We appreciate your time making this video. 💚
Appreciate the love Skoda!

Thanks for the comment Steve. It is ahead of the ID.4 in my eyes too!
I'm waiting for Skoda to bring out the ...''YetE''....🤣
Nice naming! Unfortunately doesn't look like they will

All thanks to Ian who filmed and edited the footage. Link in the description
I am very surprised that the lower spec models don't get a rear wiper! Only the sportlibecand vrs
Me too

I did borrow a neighbours pram once to do a review like that but the views were no different which surprised me
What finish level is this beauty?
Very nice skoda
I think so too
SKODA CAR QUALITY IS VERY GOOD
EXCELLENT CAR.
Agree!
I do like it. Is it raised much from the groud compared to the other Enyaq?
Same ground clearance
@EV Review Ireland tks, how about driving position? I'm currently in a Tuscon, suffer a little with my back so like being higher from the ground.

The body is 1.88 m wide.
Both pretty similar width
What model trim colour is it please and are they the standard 19" wheels?
Thanks for the question.
Colour is Brilliant Silver
Wheels are 19” ‘Regulus’ alloy wheels. No extra charge for this choice in Ireland.
@@NevoEVReviewIreland thankyou 🙂 Is it the sportline version?
No, the Sportline version has all the blacked out trim and this has come chrome bits
I'm wondering if the Enyaq is a SUV given all the media comments about banning them? I think mine looks more like an estate car.
fake news
@@pato10111 Meaning what exactly!

Imo Skoda is now ahead of vw. I don't believe I wrote that. It getting g very conjested in the €50k range.
Great review again.
Thanks Derec
Des
Thanks Des. I agree on the VW statement too!
So, no rear wiper on the standard model? I know the sportiness and vts has one, nwhy not the standard model?
🤷♂️

And every road? Sounds expensive!
Hi Derek.
I like intelligent vehicle badge 😃😃😃😃for 70000. When you can buy smart SUV for 55000.
😂😂
Coupe definition :
a car with a fixed roof, two doors, and a sloping rear.
TWO DOORS. stop calling cars coupe because of a roof. Its a sedan
Only going with what the manufacturers say but I agree with you.
Fat Mondeo
😂😂
Nice looking car stick a diesel engine in it and i will buy one...
I think they have a few diesel Skodas still left 😂

Oh it's all about the looks and maybe not so much attention is paid to the real world situations
You need thicker glasses there are washers for front driving lights.
@Mr. Wizeguy I accidentally posted my comment on the wrong video, it was meant to be on Derek's preview video of the new Kona 🤦🏻♂️
