I also recommend the reviced mod. it's standalone so no need for an original vice city copy and the save folder is stored in the game's folder so saves won't get mixed up between themselves, it's more vanilla but still a good remaster
So funnily enough, this video was supposed to be 2 vids in 1, covering this and ReViced, but felt the need to cut it down to just VCEF due to how jam packed it is. ReViced video is coming soon-ish* though 👍
Reviced is pretty good I never played gta vice city on pc only ps2 and it was fun to revisit the game years later I wish there was a gta 3 (reviced) standalone
I wish the San Andreas mod for Liberty City was still a thing and got finished. It was basically GTA 3 but with all the stuff in San Andreas. You basically could walk around with Claude sporting an afro and play pool, and basket ball and stuff like that lol.

I always thought it was weird how Mercedes was set up to be a bit of a love interest for Tommy but it never really goes anywhere. I'm pretty sure there's some cut content there.

There's 2 that are in development I'm waiting on to do vids for, for III it's Liberty City '01, and for San Andreas it's called Things To Do In San Andreas. There's an older version of the SA version available that's kinda like this mod list, but I'm waiting for the newer version to finish completion before I make a vid on it. Def check em out!
just played vice city for a gta marathon im doing playing on the og version with some slight mods but boy did this make me wanna get the definitive edition

Unfortunately I don't think it would since some script mods have to be adapted to use that version. You could probably add some of these features individually that have been ported by their respective devs.
Really loving the empire building feature of the mod. OG VC always feel like I wasn’t building a criminal empire in the free roam section, since every missions tied to building your empire are only seen in the main missions. Afterwards, the rest is just collecting your income from businesses you own. Although one down side to this empire building feature is that you’re micro managing the work, like in Scarface.
Funny how the company with millions drowned the game, While the passionate modders fixed it, renovated it, and brought a new feeeeeel to want to come back and replay it.

Now this is what I always wished vice city to be. I always loved the 80s vibe but the game hasn't aged very well, and San Andreas was in a whole different level in terms of gameplay and content so this is a blessing
You know for the voice lines, you could check to see if the main actor/actress has was that website called Kameo? Cameo?, Of course for Ray, he sadly passed away before that app was a thing, but I feel like you could probably find Young Maylay and just write the new voice lines down and then pay them to say them. Idk just a different way of looking at the situation.
Agreed. Although I'd imagine that could get pricey for the mod curator. I'm all for using real voice lines over AI though. Way more authentic, and human. I'd rather take an amateur voice actor doing their best

You should check out GTA Zombie Andreas, it's impossible to overestimate how good this mod is Just imagine Left 4 Dead, mixed with a little bit of DayZ's brutal realism, and on Renderware engine 10 years after the release of zombie andreas it's still being updated regularly

these extended features are great but on top of that these mods makes the game lag a bit at some place like around biker gang area where we find haitians roaming around, this manly happens because of the new models that were added in the game for like the small house where diaz's boys reside,new safe houses and more.............plus i want to point it out to bibidibabidibu whatsoever his name is that he kinda made tommy's animation bit choppy and uncanny don't you think?? places where he gets hit by a car or something and when he try to get up and'll

This mod is a real treat.
Its really rough collecting the cars for the sunshine autos with so many new ones on the street. But this adds so much other stuff its fuggin awesome

Man you should check GTA Unsettling Night out, it's missions are almost completed, the mods crazy and has loads of easter eggs.
Some mods here are great, others not so much. Seems very cool overall
