    I love the shape of these pans and the watercolor is amazingly pigmented.

      Yes, they’re really nice! Very strong colors. And I do like the pan sizes in terms of them being so much kinder to my nice brushes ❤️

    thanks for uploading this! such a lovely palette, and a great mix of versatile primaries and useful and unique convenience colors. Handmade brands are exciting, but kind of a gamble as a consumer, so I always appreciate people who upload full swatches from these brands. its a great window into how these paints actually perform.

      Oh I’m so glad to hear it was helpful! And I totally agree. I always like to research before buying new paint, especially when it’s handmade. They’re more expensive so much more of a risk and it’s nice to be able to mitigate the risk a little. But I love having some variety with more traditional comprehensive palettes and then some fun unique palettes for variety. That way, you can never get bored lol

    Congratulations on the win! I really like the paints because they are so unique and sometimes when I am painting I want the experience. There are times when I wouldn’t budge from my standard “go to” brand for the standards. All of that to say, it depends on my mood.

      Exactly, same here! It’s really nice having the variety. Comprehensive palettes, but then being able to sometimes pull out these specialty palettes for variety

    TH-camrs sure are marketing this brand heavily. I'm curious, how many people without an active TH-cam channel they are trying to profit from have purchased these "handmade" brands?
    Maybe one of you TH-cam infomercial actors can take a poll on your channel asking. I'd just love to know.

      Well, she had no idea I was a TH-camr so I don’t think your assessment applies. And I get absolutely nothing from posting this video so not sure how I can possibly be an “infomercial actor”

      @@ElaTell why on earth did you take offense to my comment? Since when is being an infomercial actor a bad thing? You absolutely do make money from posting videos so stop pretending. See, it's that ingenious; nay, flat out lying that turns ppl away. My assessment does apply 100%. Makes no difference at all whether she knew who you were or not. My comment was an inquiry on does anyone but youtubers buy paints they pay more for, get less of and can't replace. If you weren't so willing to offend yourself you would have been able to read that. I'm sorry you got offended where no offense was implied, but that's on you, not me.

      @@phillipstroll7385not sure what about my replies tells you I’m offended. I simply stated the facts. And I will probably make like $1 total off this video, nowhere even close to $2, so saying I get nothing from posting this video is not a lie, just another fact.

    I'd also love to know why you'd pay so much for paints in pans that will rust and destroy the paint. Also, why would you pay more for less. These cost more than daniel smith and you get a quarter of the paint. Do you still believe price is an indication of quality? Because that hasn't been true since the trade agreement of 1992.

      @ElaTell  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m assuming I’ll have used the paint up by the time the pans rust. Also the total amount I paid for pan was very reasonable. With the discount and her “seconds” sale, the price is much cheaper than other handmade brands - I paid about half the price as any other handmade brand.

      @@ElaTell why though, that was part of my question. Why? With all the great brands out there why go through such extremes to acquire a product that you can't replace? As artists we achieve greatness by mastering or skills. Part of that is the products we use. If one can't get a replacement how is one to master it? Why would youtubers even so much as promote these bad habits to beginners? Also, again, curiosity shouldn't be seen as offensive.

      @@phillipstroll7385because it’s fun to try new things and unique things. Why but anything handmade when I can get the same thing at Walmart much cheaper? And why do artists love experimenting with things? Because sometimes we discover things about art or style or whatever that we wouldn’t have if we just kept using the same old thing over and over. And setting an alarm to buy something isn’t that big of a deal to me. I’ve done it for plenty of other brands and things, so why not for paint?

      @@phillipstroll7385you do know that clear enamel can be used to take care of the rusting issue . I use these types of pans in several shapes and sizes with my watercolor paints and I simply spray the tins on both sides with rustoleum clear enamel and the rusting problem is taken care of .
