Even that was alright (because it was important to show that while making our own choice we have to sacrifice things or bear the unpleasant results too). If and only if Wang Wook wouldn't have shed shadow over his sister's act of giving poison to Crown Prince Moo and brought everything to light, all the while asking for mercy for himself and his innocent mother, he could've married Soo and lived a happy life far away from palace drama. Even if he hadn't got the happy things, atleast he would've remain faithful to his love, Hae Soo and also Soo wouldn't have been tortured like that which led her to have a chronic illness towards the end. That damn princess Yeon Hwa! She should rot in a place worse than hell. Also I am so disappointed in Wang Wook who didn't give much love to his wife, Myung Hee and also didn't keep her last wish of taking care of Soo and the promise he made to her burning pyre of giving all the love to Soo that he didn't give to his wife. Queen Hwangbo promised Lady Hae Myung Hee to fulfill any wish but she too failed to fulfill Myung Hee's wish of getting her son, Wook married to Hae Soo after Myung Hee's death.

The way that korean dramas ( especially historical ones ) are soo funny in first episodes and soo sad in last episodes.. 🥲 I usually prefer to watch first episodes again & again
