For instance for the ladder for the pilot, pilots, the ladder hides behind a panel, and the panel needs to be screwed of and on, all the time ( I think it was about 12 - 15 screws lol...) when pilot/pilots need to board, or exit the plane seat/seats. But it's good screws I've been told...lol. The make up for time also by having nice dedicated wingmen. They don't need pilots on board, they can just take their seats, and start pounding. Draft boards were told to not send laborers from essential industries to war. Many young men who wanted to enlist and go fight were told to stay home and give their service on farms and ranches which were vital for providing food for the war effort. There were many stories of young men whose war service imperative was to do "boring," menial farm work when many of their peers were in foreign theaters of war. Many farmboy's parents told them how blessed they were to stay home; it was only years later that they realized their parents were probably right, even though some were somewhat ashamed they never had a chance to join the military.

Europe is weak because it is selfish and this will always be the downfall of Europe. It has all the resources in the world, fantastic economies, great social benefits, but they do not care about each other. They believe that America will subsidized their military and that it will always be this way. Countries that are not the UK, Poland, and Estonia steal from the United States by having the taxpayers in America pay for their defense, they are not willing to lose their healthcare, free education, and raise the retirement age in order to meet the NATO standard which is the bare minimum. The United States simply loses almost every time it deals with European Countries because most Europeans feel as if they have the right from birth to be taken care of, pampered, and given a social safety net, and they are more than willing to have other countries, meanwhile the American knows the harsh reality of the world, they are given nothing and only know that if we dont keep the world stable if we don't control the trade routes, if we don't police nations, no one else will and millions die will die.

The positive of Trump winning the election is Europe is given a wake up call. Europe needs to build up and increase their own defensive infrastructure. They need to spend 2% of their GDP on their defense. At least they should be able to afford it. Yes Trump is a wildcard but Europe needs to be more self reliant for their own defense. Less EU bureaucracy and more streamlined defensive doctrine in mainland Europe.
No, Trump is not a wild card. He was the first person to give weapons to Ukraine. The first person to tell Europe to stop buying Russian oil and to spend more on defense. As an American, I have little concern about the paper bear that is the modern Russia. A United Europe has been strong enough to handle Russia for years now. The "To Washington" "missiles" is just more rattling of a rusted, dull saber. This is not 1939, Putin is not an Adolf resurgent, but a lame duck Mussolini. American needs to prioritze its economic and military rebuilding effort in order to deter the threat of China, which unlike Russia, stands a significant chance of overwhelming Taiwan before the arrival of significant U.S. support. I believe in the strength of a United Europe to handle the modern Mussolini. Make an example of him. Slava Ukraini!
So what will happend when the dollar is getting weaker in the future and your turning a blind eye to your allies? America has bases and forces worldwide for a reason..
@oakhauser I'm basing that comparison on the lack of effectiveness of Russian Army the past few years. Mussolini couldn't beat Greece on his own and his campaign needed to be rescued by the Germans. Sounds a lot like Ukraine vs Russia to me, with Russia *desperately* needing support from its allies and all.
Come off it. Europe has an intellectual deficit that is difficult for any sane person to fathom. Just look at how they treat Australia, the country they utterly depend on for defence yet have inflicted a punitive trade embargo on it for generations. The Europeans are beyond clueless, they simply don’t have the capacity to align without American leadership and additionally they’re chronically deficient in maintaining alliances.
seems like you forget that all are interconnected, a strong russia or god forbid russia wins will start the invasion of taiwan and probably south korea...aint no way the us stays out of it and becomes victor we all gonna loose alone
You have no idea what "that path" is. Now, after Trump's meeting with Zelenskyy prior to the election, I think all "YT commenter pundits" are going to eat some roast crow.
This actually very good for Europe. They have been leaning on the U.S. for too long and getting soft. They will gather together now and be more self-sufficent security wise
Yes, but they dont really have the time to get ready right now. Also, Russia has been sanctioned like crazy right now, but can still hold on for like 2 more years. If Trump removes the sanctions and they are allowed to rebuild fully…the west is more than screwed.

I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the attribution of this statement however, I believe it fits Ukrainians too. During the American Revolution, British General Cornwallis asked General George Washington why he thought that a small rag tag group of colonial farmers could defeat the greatest army in the world? The reply, “The thing that separates the American Christian from every other person on earth is the fact that he would rather die on his feet, than to live on his knees.” Slava Ukraine!
No. General Cornwallis never said that. That is American myth and probably taken from the Patriot (2000) film. The British Army was one of the smallest armies in Europe, always has been, and there was great apprehension about the coming war in America. But...an "arrogant Brits" trope is always good to bolster a "goodies vs baddies" national myth story.
@@leod-sigefast I said I couldn't vouch for the accuracy. The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was. The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
@Mr.Kingen yeah, maybe in an ideal world. Unfortunately, we live in the real world. Russia is too big to fail. The west can't allow it to collapse. Putin knows this. The west has simply given ukrain enough support to not collapse completely. But we will never give them enough to actually risk defeating putin. Western leaders are going to talk about victory while literally making rules that protect Russia from being too harmed.
Another idiotic idea. I can say with total conviction, NATO is the army you need, it's there right now, reformatting it would not change anything -- at least not for the better. What Europe needs is a spine. Start doing, stop lying about doing.

Europe simply cannot let Putin win in Ukraine, we need along with similar minded democracies like South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and others show that democracies will defend each other from dictators. I think if Europe supports Ukraine Trump may leave NATO, we need to take this opportunity to show we can defend ourselves and allies
Trump is not in NATO, the United States of America is. All Trump was asking of the European nations was to take more responsibility for their own defense, and, not depend totally on the US for defense.
@@winfordnettles3292 No he pretty clearly said he would let russia attack European nations. It does not matter if US is in NATO if its only there in name
I’m hopeful that President Biden gets all weaponry out to Ukraine he can before the transfer of power occurs. Also, any Russian assets need to be conveyed to Ukraine ASAP.
From the US, I hope Europe really decisively stands up. I wish our political situation were different but this is our reality now. Ukraine needs you, and to our shame, America won't continue to support Ukraine in all likelihood. Sorry, but the ball is in your court now.
I doubt all support will be cut off, but it is crucial in the scale of conflict right now that Europe start thinking military again. The EU is an economic powerhouse that isn't too far behind the USA. The USA spends a lot on its military, and it is a very important expenditure. If global conflict breaks out again with east vs west, then we need both unions ready for mass production and innovation. This requires a redistribution of expenditures. the idea that the USA should do it all is a very very bad idea for the sake of the Europeans themselves.
Worrying them a bit that the USA isn't the endless waterfall of invulnerable protection and military resources is exactly what needs to happen, so they get themselves in gear and do it quickly.

what I’ve learned from this war is that Russia is a paper tiger and literally none of their military tech is really as affective as it was believed. I see simulations that assume all Russian tech is as good as assumed and the Russians are very unstoppable but in reality their ship defense systems stink, the surface to air defense systems suck, the russian combat tactics are extremely amateurish at best. Even the Russian nuclear deterrence is questionable. @@dennislindqvist1265 I don't think many wars are ever a "choice" taken gladly by young men and women. Perhaps this is the great failing in Europe? This mindset? This idea that if you prepare for a thing, you somehow embrace the thing? America doesn't prepare for war because it necessarily "wants" war, it prepares because it foresees what is likely to come. The way a fire-department prepares to put out a fire they don't want to have to fight to begin with but they acknowledge the reality of the threat.
Yes, a pause is not a peace. But, the Korean war has been on pause all of this time. They never had a peace agreement. Europe SHOULD have had a united policy of defense against Russia since the 1960's if not the 1950's. Unfortunately, Europe got far too used to having " Big Brother USA " around to do the heavy security. This is some what understandable. Now, Europe is starting to wake up and hopefully it will not fall asleep again.
Pretty much half of Europe was occupied by Russia or in their "zone" as puppet states at that time.. and that was pretty much thanks to USA pussying out and letting Russia go with their imperialistic ambitions. At the end of WW2 US had far greater army, economy and thousands times more nukes than Russia. One militant dictator was taken down and for some reason another one was left unchecked. Of course, Eastern Europe fell and of course there was not really that kind of UNITY and decisiveness in Western Europe due to that. Otherwise Russians would have soon marched to Paris and to Madrid

We will see more and more "planes" over the battle field, but less and less piloted ones.

Europe is weak because it is selfish and this will always be the downfall of Europe. The reply, “The thing that separates the American Christian from every other person on earth is the fact that he would rather die on his feet, than to live on his knees.” Slava Ukraine!
No. General Cornwallis never said that. That is American myth and probably taken from the Patriot (2000) film. The average American doesn't give Russia a moment of thought.
As an American, we don't write "to" anyone on our missles, they know where to go already. No need to remind them.

Congratulations to Arture. I think his channel is successful. I have the regret because one time I was honoured enough to receive a response but I was a total jerk & really wish I never said any other things I said because I was completely wrong. I appreciate, value, & absolutely love every word this guy says. It’s not like Arture will see this comment amongst over 2.7 thousand comments but that’s fine because I totally deserve it for being a jerk when I made comments when his channel was very small & he was able to keep up on comments back then.
Glory to the Heroes of Ukraine 🇺🇦 & all of assist.

Maybe you should try moving to a country that is more in line with your political leanings, like Iran or North Korea.

Trump will be more helpful than Biden. Not sure why Europeans think they understand the US President so well. We lived under him for a while and know that he's a lunatic. Russia will not toy with Trump like he did Biden.

@@thomasosildenif763 Europe (EU) is in free fall!
what I’ve learned from this war is that Russia is a paper tiger and literally none of their military tech is really as affective as it was believed. I see simulations that assume all Russian tech is as good as assumed and the Russians are very unstoppable but in reality their ship defense systems stink, the surface to air defense systems suck, the russian combat tactics are extremely amateurish at best. Even the Russian nuclear deterrence is questionable. I think if we put boots on the ground in Ukraine and tell the Russians they face the full might of US combined arms and tell them to leave all Ukraine lands they will quickly obey.
Keep up the excellent work ARTUR!!
Artur, love your work, It's disturbing to see the cowardice of western mainland Europe, NATO needs to go in now, Russia's false sense of superiority is obvious & funny to watch. Trumps election victory is the boot up the backside that Europe needed. Stay safe, cheerin.
It is completely understandable that no one wants to send their sons and daughters to a war zone. If I had been younger, I would have taken their place. But now it looks like we have no choice.
Yes Europe and NATO will need to step up.

Very well said, pause is not peace. 👍
Yes, a pause is not a peace. But, the Korean war has been on pause all of this time. They never had a peace agreement.
There is no "Victory over Russia" nor "Destroying Russia" Ukraine doesn't have the manpower for such a thing. Russia obviously hasn't the men and machines to take over all of Ukraine either. So, if Ukraine is losing land, doesn't it make sense to have a cease-fire? Why is peace cursed?
@eu7435 haven't you been listening, dude? Give pootin a time-out and he'll rearm and come back stronger. Duh.
Otherwise Russians would have soon marched to Paris and to Madrid
usa wanted it that way to be fair a weak europe is a strong america now things might change with trump but yeah its not good for the us to have a strong europe really
@@thetom12395 I am not sure I agree. A strong Europe can only benefit America I believe. It is a mutual thing and always has been.
@@williamlilleston1595But, will it always be? If Europe becomes strong comparatively to the United States as if it were a new federal union, a new nation, how would it be impossible to imagine which directions a _truly_ unified Europe can take?
A strong Europe could perhaps one day oppose American presence and demand US forces leave the continent before projecting its own hostilities by cutting any American access nearing Europe’s Atlantic shores, doing military exercises and patrols to flex its capabilities, and continuously establishing what its territorial waters are (much like China does currently).
@@snipingflute4346 That could happen. It would not be surprising to have Europe demand American troops / weapons be removed from Europe. However, Europe and America do share a common history / culture and many traditions. Most people are not prone to forget history. Europe and America share much. Anything could happen. Again History shows us that. As far as Europe / America engaging in open conflict, That has happened many times before and the same result has always happened. A simple matter is that America is totally self sufficient / has a bigger GDP / larger population etc etc then all of Europe / Scandinavia combined. I truly would hate to a great relationship such as we have go down the crapper.
might benefit Ukraine in the near term - a lot that hasn't been delivered may get delivered now
I think that is the case... the US has already decided on a big amount of which only a part is given... I am 90% sure the US will give it in the coming months, or that money will be taken by Trump.

From the UK, I completely agree. The US isn't coming for us, we need to drastically increase military spending and work closely with our European friends to preserve all of our freedoms. Frankly, after seeing how easily the US turns its back on its allies, we should never allow ourselves to be in a position where Europe needs US assistance from now on, and it would also mean we can peruse European interests too instead of US interests.

I am in an Apprenticeship for an aircraft mechanic and I can say, that me and my friend did not know that Fighterjets could have screws. It is possible but normally they are not able to be seen because airplanes would suffer enormous corrosian by that. Even rivets are completly covert. But you NEVER use them outside of the Airplane. Inside they are pretty common but not outside.
