Hey! Regular viewer and customer and Alamo Music. What I’d love to see sometime is a sort of “Welcome to Alamo Music” Video of sorts that gives a bit of info about how Alamo Music actually started and came about and what it looks like now behind the scenes, who we might see at the store and what music tastes y’all are attracted to. I always see that y’all are the oldest music store in Texas but I don’t know much else, there’s a sort of mythos right now about the shop.
I never could figure what the big deal was about Tom Morello, like Kirk Hammett, average players, there are a million guys that blow them away, right place at the right time I guess.
Its a gift. One thing about music is, its not like professional sports where the most athletic guy gets the bigger contract. For music, it comes down to influence and inspiration. Its a gift that is developed. Theres no blueprint for it. You either have it or you dont. Tom was innovative from the beginning. You gotta stand out instead of just copying everyone else 😉
