The program costs 2.5 million to 2.8 million pkr and the average pay is 140K. Considering the 2 year opportunity cost and the fact that the cost will be covered in 2 years I think it is a pretty bad deal. It's like you'll reach breakeven in 4 years. You should rather invest your 2.5 million in a business and build your own empire. It's better in every sense.
Its not about short term think long run. Like Chief Corporate Officer of Samba Bank in early 40s a lums alumna earning around 1.8 Mn per month other than bonuses. Apart from accelerated growth lums offer you networking for your business initiatives and strong alumni network support you at every instance.
@@masoh7336 I agree with you that it's about long term thinking. But education shouldn't be that expensive. LUMS has again increased their semester fee. It's out of reach for a common man. I'm a NUST grad. My parents paid the fees for my UG(~1mil). But I don't have the courage to ask them for 3-4 mil again. I'm currently employed and at my current income it would take 6-7 years to save money and bear the expenses on my own. And then I will have to take a break of 2 years.
As far as the figure of 1.8 mil, I know freelancers who're in their 20s and earning way more than that. So again with the amount of opportunities present there in the modern day of internet and information, the MBA at such cost isn't worth it. And not long from my now people will start realizing that and this type of education will become obsolete.

Plus which tests are required to take in order to get scholarship ???
And can we get 100 % scholarship for BSC programme ???

Is LUMS comparable to IIM in India?
In terms of repute? It is certainly one of the best universities in Pakistan but not sure how it compares to IIM.

There is no such preference. Admission depends on the quality of application.
LUMS CAT entrance accept karta hai kya? It's an Indian entrance exam for admission in IIMs
Only GRE, GMAT and NTS are acceptable. NTS is a local test.

The level of questions they put is really nice. You will feel good to solve the paper. All this GRE GMAT is not at all challenging.
Is it possible for candidate to continue his job while studying in LUMS MBA program?
Almost impossible. LUMS MBA is very taxing.
@@grebyquva2435 one more question if you don't mind. I have a job experience of 2 years (2017-2018) but for the last 1.5 years I have been jobless. Will it effect my probability of admission in LUMS. i am finding job and will get it after few months most probably in January 2021.
@@ammazali2922 First of all, good luck for the job hunt! Secondly, if you can justify whatever you have done in the last 1.5 years, it won't be a problem. They understand that there is a lot of unemployment, it's what you do with your time that matters.
