Pastorsillos - Kadaugan Cultural Dance Troupe

Kadaugan Cultural Dance Troupe was established in 2021 as the official Folk Dance group of Babag National High School - Special Program in the Arts.
Pastorsillos
The pastorsillos is how the children dressed as shepherds are called in the Nativity play "pastores". This version of the "sayaw sa mga pastores" tradition in Cebu starts with the search of Joseph and Mary for a place to stay, followed by the shepherds' search for the birthplace of the Baby Jesus and ends in a bele (cre'che), where they offer indigenous gifts together with "daygon" (praise song) in adoration of the Santa Maria and the newly born babay, "ang batang Hesus" (baby Jesus)
