I met the King a number of years ago when he was the Prince of Wales at another leading Cancer Hospital (The Christie Hospital) in Manchester. He was just as genuine and kind, asking how we had coped with the Chemotherapy and was very interested in the latest MRI scanner that had just been installed from fundraising we had been involved in. My heartfelt prayers go out to him, to Princess Catherine and the Duchess of York for a full recovery 🙏 God bless them all.
I was happy to listen to a segment that didn't include H&M. I hope this is a beginning of a trend.

Too much to give an answer to the rant so much misinformation about it.
It is fantastic to see King Charles up and about visiting cancer patients. His true deep felt empathy was very obvious. As a cancer patient myself, I do appreciate how King Charles may have felt when first diagnosed. The treatments nowadays are varied and very effective and the best thing he can do is to remain active, positive and cheerful. I personally crack jokes to stay strong.
So glad the King is chipper!!! His people are not!!! We are sick to death of his traitorous son! So while he is out and about shaking hands making sure that everyone sees him and soaking up the adoration his son and his ghastly wife are off to a commonwealth country acting like it’s a Royal tour!!! Ive had friends with cancer who were being treated with chemo, when visiting i was told strictly no hugging or kissing ! I dont understand how Charles is mixing freely with the public and shaking hands etc, it seems very odd to me !

The cold cap is not a treatment. It is a very very specialized cap that is frozen in a way to protect against the loss of hair during chemotherapy. In the US it is not covered by any form of insurance because it is not considered medically necessary for treatment outcomes. I would be surprised if NHS covers it for the same reason. People privately purchase these caps which do help with some degree of hair loss, they are very expensive here in the US and during long infusions can be uncomfortable.

Unfortunately they don’t always work, I had my first chemo with the cold cap and my hair came out in handfuls. As there was insufficient machines for everyone I asked the oncologist to give it to another patient who had gorgeous thick red hair. I hope it worked for her. 🙏

The cold cap cant be used for blood cancer patients though Jenny,as the chemo needs to reach every part of the body including he scalp,so thats why i couldn't have i,t as i have stage 4 blood cancer.
The Queen had Myeloma,which falls under the umbrella of blood cancers along with Lymphoma & Leukemia,so id say hes not got that if hes worn a cold cap but who knows,he may have had immunotherapy,ive had both and id take immunotherapy over chemo anyday! 🤮
Some people have said why has he lost no hair? Well neither did i,it depends on the chemo mixture /regime you get.
