When we interviewed Bobby in May, he spoke about this song and said it was about a good friend of his who passed in a head-on collision while they were in a motorcycle club out riding. The guy's bike apparently went flying over the "support car" in which his newlywed bride was travelling. Thought you guys might be interested to know that.
There is no such thing as a bad OVERKILL album in my opinion (and that includes 'I Hear Black')... just seems an impossibility at this point as they have repeatedly and continually delivered the goods since their arrival.
Well, this song seem to be about inner struggle with one's thoughts about broken / faded relation with someone special. Probably love is a theme. Person is in grief and silent anger about it but after a while it reconsiders, learns from it's mistakes and lets it go...and motors on into the unknown, new life. This is my interpretation.
38 now a Metal head since my early teens. But did not become a Overkill fan until i saw them live and Gigantour back in September 2006. That concert was fucking awesome was worth the headache later after 7 hours of Metal.
"raw kit" is now "thanks a million" NO LIGHTS stands aside from most other overkill songs; its a dirty biker song, like 80 CYCLES but shows an unexpected maturity. GOOD KILL and thanks a million !!!!
Probably some friend figure who showed him his view of the world and what people are fighting to find philosophically and how we are all conditioned to think a certain way since childhood
Splendid video editings for a splendid Metal band. I made a previous comment where I said that all your videos are the same thing in the sense that in every one of your videos I stay speechless with the quality of the Overkill's song and the video editing. I was unfortunate in my comment. All your videos are not same. All of them have a different identity. The only thing that is the same is my reaction I stay amazed at every video.
i love the comment about it either being about someone you knew or maybe dying in the presence of Jesus. dont get me wrong, he has a point about thematic ambiguity. but um...yeah. sure bro. whatever it means to you.
the big question here is: Is this a love song or a song about dieing in the presence of Jesus? Many Overkill songs play on this ambiguous theme. (take necroshine; for example) god i love this shit (no pun intended)
I see this video was given one thumb down to that I have to ask the perp... is your dream come true a new Nicklesack album featuring a collaboration with Justin dwieber with a promo code for a free download of Chad Krueger and Bieber's sex tape? Well sorry to say you won't find any like minded people here... I hear those types hangout on Grindr have fun princess

Really? That's heavy man.
I figured it was about a bike accident, but the newlywed part makes it all the sadder. Cheers
KILLBOX 13...OVERKILL'S masterpiece.
one of their masterpieces, anyway.
I agree. Their best album since Horrorscope!. And nothing since compares.

I'm pretty sure it's about one of Blitz's riding buddies dying. At least that's how I interpret it.
