There's nothing cheap about the 5c. The plastic is what makes it durable even more durable then all the others. And people will say your cheap for buying it because they've just realized they wasted 300 more dollars for a phone that was exactly the same thing with minor tweeks (5s??) Get the 5c. In my honest opinion +MrRockyBoxer the iPhone 5c is just a pleasure to hold and in that regard I prefer it over my 5s when it comes to holding it. The plastic feels great and the phone is heavier. Very good points. The only thing I would address is the touch screen responsive issue. iPhones actually have top-notch responsiveness. I think what happened in your situation was that you love bigger screens and you may have missed the buttons. I've seen it done millions of times from reviewers online where they have to touch the button again because they didn't get it correctly the first time (but of course it may have just been something with that very device). I'm glad you found a phone that you're more comfortable with though. And also, the iPhone 6 I think you're going to be a fan of whenever you can get it. The bigger screen size is a definite and you'll probably feel great with having all of the features that you loved in the 5s but also having some of the features in the 6 because of the changes Apple is making.

I got a green iPhone 5c and I love it! It's a beautiful shade of green and the plastic makes it shine in such an awesome way. And, it's got the same specs as the iPhone 5. Sure, the 5s has better specs, but there are still tons of people using iPhone 4s and 4s's. So you won't be far behind :) And I hate how everyone says that it sucks because it's made of plastic. It's a really hard plastic, and I actually feel really safe with it. Also, I love being creative, and why carry a boring old black/white iPhone around when you could have a different color, like blue, pink, yellow, or green? I haven't had any problems with my phone for the past two weeks, and it's been doing just fine :) The only complaint I have with the 5c is that you can see fingerprints and smudges on the back if it's in bright-ish light, but that's fine. You can just get a case if you don't like it :P

Honestly I liked the 5c better cuz the 5s literally just looked like a recycled 5.. the color on the 5c just caught me off guard and instantly caught my attention. Also I get 32gb on the 5c for 200 while I can only get 16 on the 5s for that same price.. And the 5s' "extra features" are really just gadgets that I didn't find interesting in the first place.. But they're both great phones regardless :)

The galaxy phones flex because they have a thin backplate that is removable. try removing the back of that 5C. Don't complain, though, when you void your warranty
Nicolaus Parks That's my point. The Galaxy devices, even though they are pretty cheap, have the ability to actually remove their backplate. Not all Androids are shit, though. The new HTC One M8 has SD expansion and yet still does not have a removable cover, so that the back still feels very solid and premium. The iPhone 5C is just as glossy and crappy as the back of a Samsung, but the difference is that it is unibody, and to attempt removing the back of the iPhone would require breaking it and voiding the warranty. My point is that at least a Galaxy phone has the option to remove the plate

Cameras designed for photographers (for pros) cost much, much more then that telephone. Even cameras created for amateurs photographers are more expensive. If you're planning on buying an iPhone, definitely get the 5S. I borrowed an i5c from a friend for a week and now I have my 5S for a week. I dislike "plasticy" feel and bright color, so my preference goes to 5S. You don't see much difference in performance yet, but you will in a few weeks/months. To me it seemed like the battery life on the 5S was slightly better as well. If you don't mind paying the extra money, then definitely go for the 5S. If not, the 5C isn't bad either.

I agree, I hate the boxy feel of every iPhone 4-6. I like the rounded edges of the 5c, and I think it's just as good if not better.

i got the blue one (iphone 5c) and its really better than any other iphone device ive owned. And it feels good in your hands also the 5s feels likes its hard on the back and it dont feel good on your hands but another friend of mine also has it and she said it looked like it popped out the plastic but it never did that to mine but i really like the 5c.
The galaxy phones flex because they have a thin backplate that is removable. try removing the back of that 5C. Don't complain, though, when you void your warranty

The new HTC One M8 has SD expansion and yet still does not have a removable cover, so that the back still feels very solid and premium. The iPhone 5C is just as glossy and crappy as the back of a Samsung, but the difference is that it is unibody, and to attempt removing the back of the iPhone would require breaking it and voiding the warranty. My point is that at least a Galaxy phone has the option to remove the plate

The 5s has better specs, fingerprint scanner, slow mo camera. 5c uses plastic, slightly worse performance and ergonomics.
The 5c is a bit cheaper as well due to its plastic design, many people are saying the iPhone 5c is a bad phone, but it's NOT. It is not a weak and slippery phone it is pretty sturdy.

I have got a white 5c for like 4 months now and i still love it and the plastic doesn't bothers me at all and some people say the plastic is cheap or the plastic sucks, well it does not feels cheap at all the only problem about it is that the phone can be slippery if you have sweaty hands

If you're planning on buying an iPhone, definitely get the 5S.
I borrowed an i5c from a friend for a week and now I have my 5S for a week.
I dislike "plasticy" feel and bright color, so my preference goes to 5S.
You don't see much difference in performance yet, but you will in a few weeks/months.
To me it seemed like the battery life on the 5S was slightly better as well.
If you don't mind paying the extra money, then definitely go for the 5S.
If not, the 5C isn't bad either.
