Pandanguiado is derived from the spanish dance fandango, where the dance is inspired. Buraweño means the people of Burauen, it would mean The Fandango of Burauen.
Inspired by the steps of fandango, Pandanguiado Buraweño is a dance that shows the courtship of a couple, and how people of Burauen do their courting.
The proponent (if you'd say so) of this dance is still alive. Named, Bernardo Pedere.
