Description:
Good enough for now. I'll try to do a nightmare all secrets run soon I think, or maybe improve the uv-speed time again.
E5M1: This map is all about dodging projectiles and especially avoiding the lost souls which are quite annoying.
E5M2: Thank god for the secret at the start, don't know what I'd do without it. Anyways I found a shortcut here, the teleporter in the lava takes you straight to red key door, doesn't save too much health and armor, but it saves some time, I'll need to include it in a new uv-speed demo.
E5M3: I've had some trouble hitting the first evil eye switch so I get a bit closer and just run across to the ledge instead. This avoids sometimes having a cacodemon block the entire path so that's nice. I take the end a bit slow here, I think it can be done much faster by simply running past everything. It's best to exit this level with about 125 health or so though.
E5M4: Not really necessary to skip the crusher lindefs if you have enough armor, but I decided I'd go with the green armor here. Not having to rocket boost across the key bars is pretty nice, leaves me with good health for the next map usually.
E5M5: This level is really difficult on nightmare. There's a lot of hitscan that slowly drains your health and there isn't that much health to pick up. You can either go for blue key first or activate a linedef that's required to progress while getting the mega armor. I think getting mega armor last is slightly better because of how the hitscanners move around, but I'm not sure.
Then in the last area you need some luck where you hope that monsters don't respawn and you avoid rocketing yourself... or just have enough health and survive anyways.
E5M6: Most likely always low on health on this map. I just try to clear everything at the start from safe distance as the rest should be quite safe. Delaying the invulnerability as long as possible will ensure you get 2 chances to make it to the exit, it's not too often the cyberdemon hits you.
E5M7: I go and take a soulsphere secret with the invulnerability so I can get 200/200 for the later parts of the level which would be quite dangerous without it. I don't see a way to do the linedef skip on the last teleporter on nightmare, too much hitscan around that can push you, and no other way to set it up as far as I can see.
E5M8: Just get to the exit alive :)
We should tell Romero that Sigil has been officially conquered by DoomGuy incarnate.

Did any of the ppl saying this stuff play thy flesh consumed? Plutonia?? This map design is very clever and doesn’t rely on, say, 700 hit scanners at the beginning of a level to make it “hard” (aka a crap shoot)

It's interesting how at 14:45 he takes advantage of the fact that in nightmare diffculty, the cacodemon simply goes full shooting and no moving unless you weren't in view, combined with the fortunate map obstacles at that point, that's ingenious, I wouldn't even think of ignoring and showing my back to a nightmare monster, but this works like a charm while he is dispatching the second cacodemon on the opposite side!

I have done Level 3, I think I also did Level 9, since it was possibly easier to reach that exit, than the normal, but I got stuck on Level 7, it was actually fun playing some on Nightmare, you have to play totally different than any other difficulty, you have to rush it. It can get very exciting. I think it is good for improving gaming skills, in Doom.
But there is so many hitscanners.... For my skill level it is probably more luck than skill that I have gotten so far, keep in mind I have played a LOT of Knee Deep In The Dead... So I basically know where most of the enemies and such is, especially the first 4-5 Levels.

I played sigil on UV with fast monsters.I gave up on abbadons void,that level is downright infuriating on nightmare or UV with fast monsters.

I've had a challenge that no one I know has beaten. So I thought the zero master could beat it. Can you beat doom 2 hell on earth without taking any damage. One former human bullet means sudden death.

How do you run Sigil through Crispy Doom? I have tried everything and each time it launches just The Ultimate Doom without the fifth episode.

U can idclev 5x to the level. Or u can use de compact sigil wad, it replaces episode 3 with sigil.

I can see everything just fine. Have you tried to change brightness and contrast settings on your monitor or in Windows?
