We made 20 years ago a roadtrip to the Ghalbi desert and spend the night at the Kalacha oasis, very beautiful place. In these times it was a dirt road from Archers Post to the Huri Hills in the North. Nice video to see it back.👍
That must have been quite an adventure. The area has changed alot since 20years ago. We also stayed in Kalacha Oasis for a night. That part will be in the next episode of this series. Stay tuned
3:50 - Mount Kenya is the highest mountain in Kenya, and 2nd highest in Africa after Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. By prominence Mount Poi is #61 out of 3856 in Kenya.
I have been to this wind power farm and Loiyangalani town. Us we accessed the area through the south Horr area, just past Laisamis....we spent two days at Loiyangalani town. Unfortunately on our way back, we experienced an accident inside the wind power farm and we lost one of our colleague. May she continue RIP
Awesome. Was out in Loyangalani a couple of years back when Turkana Festival was a spectacle. Went via Maralal ... Samburu...South Horr... I see you guys didn't visit the museum (cradle of mankind) with rich history. The rough & ragged, but beautiful North. Such an amazing experience.
This was my Home as my parents managed the Oasis Lodge at Loiyangalani from 1960 to November 1965 , the year my Father Guy Pool & the Catholic Priest Father Satlonie was murdered by the Sifters?? and the Italian lorry driver was never found after been taken by them!
These Kenyan tourists are funny which tourists go mountain climbing in flipflops, you everyday come across tourists from overseas yet you don't study what attire they wear for their missions what if you come across a poisonous snake or say you encounter an aggressive lion or a lone aggressive elephant 🐘,well as they say in Kenya miros are miros kweli
Went to high-school with your driver shout out to Micheal
