As a regular SNL viewer, in recent years the female cast mates have been much stronger and even with Kate & Aidy leaving, Bowen Yang is the new male star. He shined in every appearance. Keenan is still funny but he’s been around forever

Love the show and have been a viewer for years. One comment though, could the ladies clothing selection be a bit more affordable. I have gone searching for there pieces after the shows only to find they are $1000 a piece. Be real please.

I was annoyed with sunny for saying queer. As a gay male millennial I don't have positive associations with the word and the only push back I can have is when straight people force the so called reclaimed slur on us. Which is happening more and more in the media. I know political radicals used it in the 80s & this led to the word to be used in theory from the 90s ...which was adopted by white girls who posted that stuff on tumblr, largely because lesbian or bisexual was a dirty word for them, and people think it is edgy. People use it as a catchall for gay bi and these days trans...However the TV show itself exclusively uses that word yet it is 6 gay men. I don't get why people are scared to say gay these days, and I don't get why straight people in the media are comfortable saying it. I don't get why 'lgbtqia++' orgs will literally represent everyone but cis straight people with normal libido's and ignore the fact gay men find the word unpleasant. You wouldn't let some white anchor on fox news use the reclaimed N word. Why are people so free forcing a word someone else might reclaimed, that still literally means strange ( or non hetero/cis normative if you want theorise it), on the rest of us. It baffles me. Especially in a time where we are supposed to be against language that others.
I agree 100%, I was in the grocery store yesterday and heard two young boys whisper "butt slammer" to the check out man who was obvious gay. Outrageous.
As a gay male millennial you should mind your business because some of us identify as queer and want to be referred to that way. White gays always think they’re the centre of the universe and you’re not. Comparing it to the N word, something NO black person has actively asked to be called is insane. But I expect nothing less from a white cis gay man. You probably have no problem with no blacks/no fems/no fatties in your Grindr bio 🙄
Using the n-word by a white person in comparison with anyone using queer is a non equivalence. Try again.
@@Chillhard how is it? Picture a boy spitting on another boy in the playground. First have him say queer and then the N word. Is one worse? Both are derogatory words that some people personally choose to reclaim and thus parallel. Both can be reported as a hate crime in appropriate context. One means strange/odd/wrong and one is the Latin word for black that Americans put another G on. One is from homophobia, the other racism. Why is it a false equivalence to you? I also didn't say anyone. If you want to say gay people can call other people that, just like a black person can call Michelle Obama the N word, that is something I won't argue with. But Michelle has a right to feel uncomfortable. I also made a point of saying STRAIGHT people using the word. Which is the equivalent of a white person saying the N word.
