I love how he’s definitely more mature in this new tv show. Like how he pointed out that they were already in loads of debt, and overall did have an opinion and something to say. He also kept his childish like mindset while being more of a teenager..? Tbh he’s probably either 12 year old or hes like 30+ no in between.
My favorite might be his long gasp after Red Guy cusses him out in Episode 4. It just cracks me up so hard, but also makes me wanna give Yellow a hug at the same time.
I love the voice acting in this show, when you make a puppet show your actor have to be very expressive with their voices because the puppet can't have a high range of emotions- but in a something like the Muppets they found ways for their characters to show emotions even when they don't speak (like how kermit stretch and squatch his face). The thing with DHMIS is that the characters have little to no expression on their faces, I mean- yellow guy has no way of showing expressions with his body unlike Red guy or Duck. It makes it even more special knowing he's the less self aware of the bunch.
I relate to him a bit. He became my favorite character in this show, especially when he got his batteries and then lost them. 2:23 I FEEL SO BAD FOR HIM
yellow guy is so sweet 🥺 the way he gets so sad when the duck dies and is clearly grieving. I also love how in the new series he turns to the camera multiple times and addresses the audience. he's clearly supposed to be the main character of the show, representing the children that would be watching a uhm. more family friendly version of the series. he is great. 👍 love him so much

duck is my favorite personally, the moody teen persona is a mood. Also the duck that was killed at the end of episode 2 was the real one, notice the maggots in the blood.

Not only are all of his ideas shot down emidetly but when he finnaly becomes smart people still don't wanna hear what he has to say. He has a basic misunderstanting of almost all the lessons which is very relatable for me who doesn't quite understand anything fully.
I wonder if Red guy knew that was Roy? We don’t get much of him in the new series, so it’s be interesting if Red was distrustful of him from his actions in the original series? Honestly it’s not even implied Roy has any real control over anything now.
