You should make an evolution video for the Disneyworld Small world clock. I know they only have had it since 2005 but it has changed a few times since then. from 2017-18 the clock had the hour chime sound as the quarter chime and then they changed it back
I agree. It was made slower in the early 1990's and I never understood why. Thankfully, at least the faster, original 1966 movements still exist in Tokyo Disneyland, since 1983.
just out of curiosity, have you *EVER* done a history video on the load/unload spiels? It *SEEMS* when B.J. Ward took that assignment, even with the various *LOAD* spiels, her *UNLOAD* s[iel has *NEVER* changed.
I haven't, although that's a good idea. I have the full Early 80's-1986 and 1986-2002 spiels on my channel, and others have uploaded isolated versions of the 2002-current spiels. I also have the rare 1964-Mid 70's? original English spiels for load & unload, as well as a brief live audio clip of the extremely rare late 70's English spiel, different from the 60's or 80's ones. I'm not even entirely sure if they had the other languages before the 80's or not since I haven't heard any evidence.
Version 1966-1997: I liked this one which seems like the original, which it is, the only problem is that at around 1:53, the audio cut off. 8/10 Version 1998-2002: I love the Disneyland paris facade similarities differences are good too. 10/10 Version 2003: this is a good one but now the iconic spring sound is quieter. Also the new colors are a big boring, but I don’t have a big problem with this. Also they also changed the iconic bell sound after the hour strike :< 6/10 The 2nd version was the best one in my opinion
The audio at 1:53 was actually cut off because in that full video, it was the beginning of the Main Street Electrical Parade. I'm not sure why the Electrical Parade didn't start after the Clock parade, however. The 1966-1997 is my personal favorite, but I love all four versions (Including Holiday). If you click the link at the top of this video's description, a 1970 sound film is by far the oldest footage I've seen of the Clock Parade with original live audio.
@@Extremelybadpiggies I'm not entirely sure, besides that Disneyland Paris was having maintenance problems at that time, so it was probably a technical malfunction that wasn't accounted for. Their small world got better maintenance for a few years after 2015, but it began to decline again around 2018 alongside both versions in the United States, as shown in the 2019 clip and some others on TH-cam, all from the mid/late 2010s to present. Thankfully, at the original Disneyland, the interior maintenance has slowly begun to improve slightly as of 2023.
I don’t really like the current one bc everything is slow and the clock right next to the face stopped moving I think 2013 and the flower one stopped spinning and I like the old one because the clock and the flowers were spinning fast and everything was were fine and stuff
I just noticed the ticking was switched around sometime after 1990. In 1990 tick was on the left and tock was on the right but in 1992 it was switched Also in 1981 the ticking was on the same sides as 92 so it was switched for some tjme
I never noticed this that clearly before, very interesting and I'll definitely try to look further into that. I'm also making another, more extensive version of this video which should be out sometime in mid to late February.
@@benjaminroberson1924 ok cool. Will you make one for disney world's? If so you can use my footage and my paris 2017/2019 footage (both clock and ride, i have ride footage of paris in 2019 and florida in 2012)
@@Cecnorthernohio Yes I will definitely make one for Disney World. It might still be a couple months before I'll get to it, since I might also remake my videos for the rest of the Disneyland version before I get to other parks. However, I've also been thinking about delaying those a little longer and making the rest of the clock parade videos first. I can absolutely use your footage as well. I've noticed the Disney World one in particular is much less documented than the others (wonder why lol), so any footage of that will be very useful when I get to that video. And I apologize that I pretty much forgot about this after your initial comment several months ago.
It's probably broken due to a lack of maintenance, which sadly became a lot more common at Disneyland the last few years before the pandemic hit, although it was eventually fixed
I love the 1998-2002 version
I prefer the 1966-1997 version, but I like them all, including that version

Is it the clock parade got fixed after it’s been broken
Yes
The HK version (2008- present) is the same as the 2012 version in this vid

Ok, but can you explain why in the paris version of the video at 2014 when the “time doors” open the sound loops 3 times?
