This Dance Group is from Bamendankwe (Bamenda 1) Northwest Cameroon. Special Dance from the Fon`s Palace called Tamukung. The rhythm and meaning of the song goes Atunsiri build his house and slept outside. Its a death celebration rhythm which means you are dead and instead of lying in the house you built, you are lying but outside at the backyard beneath 6 feet.

Thanks very much for this explanation. We have a similar dance group in Ndu called Mkung and the rythm and the song goes similar to what you just explained. very similar cultures.
