Thank you! The stone size depends on the item you're working on. For my sneakers I use sizes 3mm-5mm & half pearls I use 3mm-9mm

I started crafting over the pandemic and posting it…now I’m selling here and there. I absolutely LOVE E6000 (for certain jobs) however I experience the clouding and cracking look when I use it on rhinestones. I’ve never used Swarovski Crystals because honestly I didn’t want to incur the expense on a hobby. Now that I’m doing it more seriously I’m asking you…is that why your gems are not getting cloudy? I apologize for the long comment🤦🏽♀️
Thank you for your compliment! As a beginner there is so much to learn, so I don't mind the long question.
E6000 glue is great. However it is industrial glue with is harsh & toxic, so please make sure you are being safe while using it. Because it is strong it can damage rhinestones. I use Swarovski crystals & glass crystals only. Resin & plastic rhinestones may not hold up if glue gets on the surface. I hope this helps you & many blessings on you new bling journey!

As always, your work is amazing! I have a question: I bling Converse, but typically only do new shoes. Have you ever blinged a shoe that's been worn once or twice? As a rule, I do not. Thanks.
Thank you for your compliment. On my Etsy shop when a customer pays they are also paying for the purchase of the a brand new pair of converse/vans that is my policy. For family & close friends only I have designed footwear that was worn once or twice, but that's very rare & most ppl want a brand new pair of shoes.

Hi you don't have to but you just want to remove any oils, dirt or dust from the rubber. That's why designers sand, buff & use aceton or rubbing alcohol.

Thank you! 24 hours is the cure time for the adhesive. But I like to wait 48 hours so that once the client gets them from the mail or pick up, they can wear them right away.

I love your work...question I agree that the stones pop better when the fabric is the same color or close to the stone color...but what if they wanted the toe of the shoes a different color....how would you change the cover of the toe since it is not fabric? I have a customer who wants the toes of her shoes to be clear stones but the toe of the shoe is black...any suggestions?
Thank you! I had a custom with the same request & what I did was use (White E6000 glue) I spread a thin layer (but enough to cover the black) on the entire toe area first then I applied the rhinestones using clear E6000. It worked. I didn't want to chance using paints that could peel off eventually. I know White E6000 would give a great coverage.

I wish I could get them wholesale LOL. I pay full price for the converses. But I'm able to use my loyalty points & get discounts at certain retail stores
I just spent several hours watching your videos so that I could make some shoes for my sisters. It was only when I went to order that I figured out that Swarovski is no longer selling to the general public. Have you found a suitable replacement? I hate that this happened because you did such beautiful work with them.
Thank you, there are different top grade brands like "Star Bright" & "Preciosa" but you may need a business EIN # to purchase. So I suggest just purchasing glass rhinestones. They are great & give such a beautiful sparkle. Try to stay away from acrylic rhinestones or resin. They are basically plastic.

It helps with moving & repositioning the crystals & half pearls.

Hi, no you don't. Because you are using white pearls also on a white canvas you are good to go!

How did you get rid of the glue smell on shoe?
It just has to air out & over time, the smell will subside. I keep a fan on the sneakers or sit them by a window.

Oh sorry to hear that, try again & next time leave some space between the half pearls & make sure the pearls are nestled down into the glue.

Hi, nope not at all. I've had women & men order these. I do however cater to the females because that's who support me the most. When I've designed male sneakers, they tend to ask for darker color rhinestones, black, navy, dark green, brown.
