    I can tell you exactly how to use a Scriveiner pen:
    Step 1: Buy it because you think it's a cheap fountain pen you can use to test whether you like fountain pens or not.
    Step 2: Realize it's going to beat the pants off of anything else that costs twenty times more.
    Step 3: Buy another one.
    The only thing I wish they would offer is a stub option.

      Thank you so much for the kind words and for sharing your experience with our Scriveiner fountain pen! 🤩 We appreciate your suggestion about the stub nib and will definitely consider it for future offerings.

    I was thinking about buying the black lacquer scrivener fountain pens, but I have a few questions.
    Will the golden plating wear off when cleaning your pen? And how often should I clean it?

    • @Scriveiner
      @Scriveiner  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there! Gold plating on fountain pen nibs is generally quite durable. When cleaning your pen, it's essential to use gentle methods and avoid abrasive materials that could potentially scratch or remove the gold plating.
      Cleaning your fountain pen regularly is essential to maintain its performance and longevity. As a general guideline, you should clean your fountain pen every time you refill it with ink, especially if you're changing ink colors or using a different type of ink. Additionally, if you notice any skipping, hard starts, or reduced ink flow, it's a good indication to clean/flush your pen to remove any built-up ink residue.
      If you have any questions or need assistance, you can message us at hello@scriveiner.com and we'll be happy to help. ❤️

    I bought two of these wonderful fountain pens .I am just wondering where can I buy replacement nibs and different size nibs that are compatible with these fountain pens. Thanks

      @Scriveiner  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much Lydia! The nib of our fountain pens is Schmidt FH241 (size 5 nib). They come in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad tips.
      At the moment, we don't offer the replacement nibs ourselves, but these can be purchased in various online stores such as Jet Pens, Schmidt Pen Parts, Studio Pens and Executive Pens Direct.

    お手入れ方法がとてもわかりやすく解説されていて、好印象です。アマゾンで目にするブランドでしたが、
    「どうせわけわからんバッタもんだろ」と思っていましたw ちゃんとした物とわかったので購入を検討します。

    Tengo varias plumas, algunas de precio alto, otras, baratas, sin embargo escribo igual de bien con las unas como con las otras. Es el escriba el que da categoría a la pluma, y no al revés.

    How do I know when it's time to change the nib?

    • @Scriveiner
      @Scriveiner  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Rita! Fountain pen nibs can last for years, but it is advisable to change the nib:
      -If you notice that your pen is writing scratchily or producing uneven lines. It may be a sign that the nib is damaged or worn out.
      -If your pen is not writing smoothly, skipping or not putting enough ink onto the page, this could be caused by damage, wear and tear, or a buildup of ink or debris.
      -Bent/misshapen nib if accidentally dropped. This can cause issues with ink flow and affect the quality of your writing.
      However, before changing the nib, it's worth trying to clean/flush and maintain your pen to see if the issue can be resolved.

    I might have, as one would explain, the worst handwriting you have ever seen. Though I’m looking into spending 40 dollars on one pen.
