The movie was simply awesome! I've seen it twice by now and would love to see it a third time on the big screen!
You really feel that the team was all behind it and wanted to make not only a good adaptation but a great movie in and of it self and they succeeded!
Waaaay above anything we have seen in terms of video game adaptation!

I'm sold. So good to hear they care about narrative and characters. Also the fact the believe in grounded action and not over the top CGI nonsense like X-Men Apocalypse.

Anyone else besides me really want Jeremy Irons to play a high ranking Imperial Officer? He just has that feel to him. He's a bit up there in the age department but he'll he would even work as an older Thrawn

Michael Fassbender played it and Marion Cotillard has a close friend fan of the games witch told her everything about them.
They worked closely with Ubisoft and had access to AC bible anyway.

It mustve went passed my head then
I only have one criticism about the movie. there's a scene where Cal is in his room practicing his martial arts. he does the powerful forward lunge, but his back leg was all wrong. instead of his back foot being firmly planted on the floor (which is proper posture and essential for balance]) his back leg was stretched out too far and his foot was bent in such a way that his ankle was bent crazy and the innerside (big toe side) of the foot was on the floor. This is a common mistake among new martial artists... definitely NOT a mistake an assassin would make . I was surprised the director or anyone else didn't catch it during filming.
The thing that im amazed it s that AOL still exists.

why does everyone dislike AC Unity is it because of the bugs? I've played it and it was very great
well, the game as a seperate game is just less enjoyable then the other ac titles, for example, many people didn't like black flag. i loved it. it's all just personal preference, the most recent one was also pretty cool, syndicate.
@@LastPcGamer The gameplay and story is great but the whole game is pointless, as the piece of eden they r trying to find actually turns out to be already destroyed by elise. The whole point of the animus and genetic memory side plot is to stop the templars from getting the sword, yet it all didn't matter at the end of the game. Idk people seem to have different opinions on unity but personally I felt like it was a waste of time learning that the character lived through the protagonist's whole life only to find nothing.

Michael Fassbender played Burke in "Jonah Hex", and the young Magneto in Marvel's "X-Men: First Class", "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "X-Men: Apocalypse", Marion Cotillard' played Talia Al Ghul in "The Dark Knight Rises" and Jeremy Irons played Alfred Pennyworth in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".

They should've stuck to the lore, played with Desmond Miles & Altair.
It would've made more sense, also there's a huge story behind this game it can't be squeezed into a 2hr movie, also you can't just back & forth with the animus it confuses people!
9:24 You can say that again. :/ _Fingers crossed that this one proves to be the exception._ I mean, Jeremy Iron's positive comments about it (even though he was in it) are actually pretty encouraging, because earlier this year he was in _Batman v Superman,_ and he had no problem coming out afterwards and shitting all over it. lol
No disrespect to Jeremy at all! He's indeed a legend and apart of my childhood! But I REALLY hope he's not just saying this because he's in the movie! I really hope what he says is true! At this point, anything can happen with this film!

Hua Mulan My advice is to watch it and judge it for yourself. I know. I was depressed as well. But remember, just because critics have strong negative opinions about this film, does not mean it should define and influence you. Heck, you may enjoy it more than they did. I just wished this was loved universally to garner good video game movies.

Hua Mulan I mean I've always seen AC as a television series rather than just a movie anyway. They just have to work on it themselves. AC has such a rich yet very complex story arch that would seem impossible to be condensed into a 2 hour film. Not that Kurzel was a bad choice at all, but it would make sense for Ubisoft themselves to write and develop a series. But...that's only a dream apparently!
I watched it the other night. I have never played the game nor known anything about the world of it; however, I can fairly understand the story, and the action is good. But it would be much better if they worked with some Chinese action directors.

I don't think the film was as bad as they say it was. Keep in mind this had a low budget plus they also had to rush the plot for reason's idk. However the biggest downfall was the rating I feel like an r rated would've gave them a bigger leeway into what they could've shown however it could've also bombed it but who knows
