The gas system is a IMPCO mixer style, they are the best besides Injection gas. Once running and tuned they run great. Get good leads and gap the plugs you will have no issues.
You have bought yourself the best choice today, Max.
I'm very excited for you.
My Dad used to have Green, VT series 2 - Holden Berliner Station Wagon as a company car in year 2000.
Who knows what I might end up doing next time? I might even buy one myself.
I don't know is usual yet because I keep changing planes all the time.
I will just wait and see.
My AU Ford is still going well. Touch wood, too. I should hopefully put a video up at some point later on.
Au is a fantastic car. My Eb has been dead reliable and I can imagine yours would be too
New Subscriber hear pleased I found your channel your content is very interesting to me. Thankyou
I had a VT SS (ex-police), it was a decent car, converted it to switchable gas as it was a fuel guzzler. Heavy car, comfortable ride otherwise. I sold it off though, just too heavy for my liking, and not that fast down low. It had a few strange creaks in the bodywork, build quality was solid, but not great. Easy to snap off the plastic fuel cap by accident, nearly did that a couple of times.
Top hose went one day, was the only issue I had with it otherwise.
The diff whine is very common in vts, especially when they sit. My car sat for 10 years and the diff whine was so bad it sounded like a supercharger
Yeah this car has tyres dating to 2008 on it. Had to have so much of a freshen up. But now runs mint as. Did change the diff oil helped a bit but randomly wines
Interesting .... most of the older "Commos" you see advertised are modified with chopped down springs and welded diffs !
Calais are hot
Eco tec best engine Australia produced!! but anything to do with LPG get rid of it the headgasket will go it fails the injectors seen time and time again!! Iam glad Australia produces cars to deal with our climate unlike ya x5 or the typical land rover english soccer mums car but unfortunately the librel government destroyed our car company's 😅
Mate can’t beat Aussie made Aussie designed build by aussies for aissies. And this is my first time with lpg so I’ll have to see for my self
@maxgal yeah dude you legend 🙌 well just make sure you disconnect the battery and when disconnecting make sure the car is outside of you're garage 😊
Being in vic, hes better off keeping it dual fuel. Up to almost $1.20 cheaper than 91.
Not all Australian states have roadworthies. Just the communist states.
I love my commodore, has dealt with my family for 20 YEARS no drama. vy ecotec. has problems but hadnt seen an oil change for close to 70,000kms, running on half the oil it should lol.
Holden by design was an optional body kit from the factory. The air con will need a new compressor & gas.
It's good that you have finally seen the light!
Ac all done will have update vid soon :)
