God, it’s scenes like this that make me hate the liars. They all say they were sorry to Mona about how badly Alison treated her and how they didn’t do anything to stop her, but in reality they were apart of it, maybe not as bad as Alison but still. They never forgive Mona, even up to season 7, Hanna still hasn’t COMPLETELY forgiven her, and why? Because her other “friends” have not. And I say “friends” because in my opinion, the liars friendship is toxic, they manipulate hanna into using Mona when they want and hanna let’s them, unknowing of how this makes mona feel. Mona has done everything to make it up to the liars and even said sorry, I’m not 100% sure but from what I remember Alison never once said the words “I’m sorry” in any format, Mona has, and has physically tried to make it up to everyone, but it’s still not good enough. Even in season 6, where she was sorta forgiven for a while, but when it was discovered that Mona was friends with Lesley, and they thought Lesley was A, they fall straight back in and say she’s working for A, and they had no proof other than she’s friends with the suspect, sure she Did try to sneak out of radley with her file, but it should be self explanatory, Mona and Lesley fought earlier, so they could’ve at least thought maybe she was trying to repair their friendship but no, Mona is always the evil one, and when there proven wrong, she isn’t A or working for A, they don’t apologise, ever, not even Hanna. In season 7, they still haven’t forgiven her, hanna has not COMPLETELY forgiven her, she has mostly but because her other friends haven’t forgiven Mona, she hasn’t either. Honestly, I’m not surprised when she put back on that black hoodie and helped AD ( I’ll not reveal invade you don’t know) cause everyone thought she was of even thought she was AD(she wasn’t obviously). It’s like Kai from vampire diaries said “ when your family decided your nothing more than a irredeemable piece of trash, well, I guess the best thing is to prove em right, right?”. It’s sorta a similar situation, she felt so awful about how they thought she was bad, so the only solution to get rid of the guilt and self hatred is if there right. She wasn’t evil though, and she didn’t become evil again she is redeemed but everyone still hates her. This is one of the tragic flaws of PLL, there presents as the heroes when each one of them has done VERY bad things, and when others do the same, they shame them. I’m gunna end her cause you get the point but just one example, aria ( or maybe Emily, pretty sure it’s aria) killed Shana BY accident, and Mona killed “ “ (I’ll not reveal, incase u don’t know😉) by accident, and EVERYONE shamed her, blamed her, Alison the worst though, even though she is kinda the reason everyone is where they are today, including Mona. But yeah, the biggest flaw is that all the liars are MAJOR HIPOCRYTES.

@tisstaa she may of been the foundation and created the game for them to steal but she didnt make them do it. All Mona did was send a few threatening messages and run hanna over. Other than that she didn’t really do anything that bad. She never followed through with any of her threats. And she didn’t force Charlotte and Alex to play the game. Charlotte took it from her when she was a lot of drugs and couldn’t think clearly and Alex took it years after Mona had time to mature. The only reason she helped Alex was to beat her like she told hanna and because she was dragged back into old habits by hanna. Like they once said themselves the liars created the monster that Mona became. You can’t keep saying it wasn’t their own god damn fault when they admitted to it in the show. And so did Alison. It’s all Alison’s fault really. Not because of her connections to Charlotte or Spencer who’s connected to Alex but cause of her shitty behaviour towards everyone including her friends. But they all forgive her for that to and still blame Mona for everything? Yeah that’s not right. Plus they were all willing to use her death to put Alison behind bars. They even said it a few times like when hanna visited Alison in jail they arnt 100% sure if she’s A, they just thought for sure she killed Mona. They created false evidence and all that. I’m not saying they have to like or even trust her. But to always come back to her being one thing (a monster) and always being A with no redeeming qualities is incredibly wrong and unfair. The liars always blame her even like 5 episodes after the dollhouse where she was stuck in a hole clearly crying in front of them for help. It just shows that when they found out she was alive they were only happy cause now they didn’t have to feel bad about it being their fault. They hadn’t forgive her and only used her as their puppet back is 5x12 and they’ve continued to do that till now. Of course is ended now but I mean like till the end of it all. But I hope you can get my point.
@tisstaa oh and the parents secret thing would of all came out eventually. They always do in most families. Even in real life wether it be cheating or a secret child or being adopted.
And they made her look guilty for crimes she didn’t commit to. So I think throughout the next like 3 seasons after Mona’s reveal they’ve done just as bad as she has to her. I think by then they should of started to atleast try get along with her and possibly trust her but if not at the very least they should of stopped accusing her of always being A and being behind everything. Mona even makes jokes about how it’s always her that’s blamed by all the liars throughout season 2 to season 7. Which shows that this hurt her alot. I mean if you were blamed for shit you didn’t do and you’ve constantly tried your best to make it up to people you’ve hurt and you can’t possibly do anything else cause she can’t climb mountain Evers for them. Plus that wouldn’t fix ANY of their problems. What Mona has done has fixed quite a few. But you’d be pretty pissed and upset right?
