Rather have this than a Royce to be quite honest. This could bring Lincoln a dream comeback.

I purchased the six year old Lincoln continental reserve with the dark sapphire blue and the cappuccino interior! I’ve owned it now for a year, and I’m extremely pleased with it. The intuitiveness of the car is amazing. I have taken this car from Canada to Florida and back and it is riding in the lap of luxury. In addition, it sure does turn heads on the highway. I highly recommend this automobile despite some of the critics to drive the car for a weekend and think they know all about it, and then trash it in their comments.
    Love, my Lincoln continental

nice review, very natural and makes me want to buy that Lincoln reserve. To be honest, the only problem i have with Lincoln/Ford is dependability. Maybe its the kind of car you lease and return after 36 months..but wow what a gorgeous ride.

A non car guy? Lol yup very evident. But hey if you enjoy doing this keep at it. One suggestion I have is to do a couple run throughs before filming one. Just do 3 takes and you'll see that the 3rd one your timing is much smoother. Also be sure you know what everything you describe does. People will instantly point out that you are clueless when a button is described incorrectly and they will be merciless, so do your homework before recording. Good luck!

You were a lot nicer than I would have been. "Oh hi, didn't see you there" is seriously lame and VERY cringe-worthy. "I'm not a car guy" is very much a nonstarter and painfully obvious as the video continues. You do not do the car any justice and, in fact, leave negative sentiment towards the car...any car.

I'm insanely curious about the front doors opening via the button. I'm sure if the car is in drive or reverse, if you hit the button the door doesn't open for obvious safety reasons. However, if you have an accident and don't put the car in park and try to get out, how can you open the door? I'm sure Ford thought of that but I'd love to know the answer.

In my car which I had checked that when I pulled down the armrest in backseat mine has controls built into the inside of the armrest. The back seat was barely large enough for me, I'm 5'10". This Continental has been thoroughly redesigned, and they didn't seem to cut any corners. It looks well thought out, those seats look impressive beyond words. They didn't fuck around with this one. Now let's wait and see how they sell,.

Thanks for watching. One of the purposes of these videos is to give a consumer an "unboxing" experience as if they were on a car lot seeing it for the first time themselves. I am very much "learning while shooting," just like a consumer would explore and discover in person. Thanks for the feedback!

David Fedor you should really say this before the video, I think it would help clear up confusion and people would be way nicer. I get what you're doing, it's actually kind of neat but before I read your comments it was a little cringe worthy. Good luck in the future!

It looks too much like a Ford on some of the finer points and that’s kinda hard to swallow to justify the price point MSRP.

This is a TOTAL entry level, pared-down model. I see a ton of stuff missing up front, and especially in the back seat from the one I saw at my dealership. That pull out seat compartment in the back with the padded lid? Try it should have a touch screen lid with wood and chrome and shiny knobs akin to what you can find on Maybachs. It would also appear this model doesn't have the rear windshield bar that goes up the glass to melt ice and retracts back under the trunk lid. The rearview mirrors on the doors on this model don't have the blinker lights along the outer edge. How very strange. The one I saw was not any special model, either. It just wasn't as economically-equipped as this seems to be. Oh and the backs of the front seats didn't have that airplane looking pocket. It had zippered, logo-embroidered leather compartments where you can store laptops, tablets, etc.

3.0L engine seems under-powered for a luxury icon of a car.

400 HP and 400 LB torque under powered?

amazing that it gets that from a small 3.0 L. My Infiniti I30 is that 3.0L engine, thus the I30 name. It doesnt have that kind of power.

When I was a teenager I could have gotten me a new car for only 1700.00 dollars. No it did not have all these very nice features, but they did have options. If you did not want the options you did not order your new car with a clock, and a radio and maybe a few more features, But what do all these new features cost> well i bet you cannot buy all these new features for the price of 1700.00 dollars, right. What can you buy now days for 1700.00 dollars> nothing at all. Now you see i am comparing apples and oranges. Of course new cars cost more now days, we all understand that. but what would a new car cost if we did not have all these unnecessary features> well i bet you would not have to pay 45,00.00 dollars for them but i bet you , that you will pay around 50 to 75 thousand dollars for this rig, and you do not need all these fancy features.. I would like to be able to the old split bench front seat. Can you get that? no. why not? why can we not order one with the old style split bench set in the front? well its easy to see with all the new features you have to have the new split seats or bucket seats as the youth of today call them. i am not buying a submarine or a hot rod, or an airplane. Personally for me, i won't be buying one. i have a nice older car and i will keep using it till i die. Why you ask, because i like what i have and i do not like all the new costly features, and i want a front seat , so that when I drive i can have a flat seat to put my hemorrhoid cushion in and be comfortable and i cannot do that with the bucket seats. I have to have a flat seat, bot a contoured one. So the moral is why cannot you buy what you want any more? Seems like we are bing told what we have to have. Well not me. i will let my friendly mechanic take care of my car and save me $75.000 dollars which i do not have. I am an old senior citizen on social security, and they do not pay you enough money to buy a new car. Well thanks for letting an old timer sound off, and i did try to be nice and not cuss, or denigrate anyone and not the car companies. i just said why cannot we decide on all the new features which we do not want or need, and why pay extra for what we do not need. I have all my old bad teeth pulled and guess what? i no longer can chew steak any more. All the old molars are gone. i just have my front teeth. Not the car companies doing, just my own. If I had taken care of them i could still eat steak. Well you say what does eating steak have to do with the price of new cars? Well I can still have my choices, and no one dictated to me. like we are being dictated to, today. life sure has changed a lot in my last 80 years. 1935 and 1940 are long gone. We really did have it better I think, except medical science. The best medical care you could ever want exists today and i am proud of the medical profession.. I had a back operation that could not have been done when i was young and i suffered with pinched nerves till my last few years and now i can get my back fixed, and the pain is gone. Thank God for the medical profession. You did hear me say one extra nice thing that is happening today. I just do not feel the same about the car companies and why we still cannot get the old split flat bench seat which i have to have for my hemorrhoids, lol. Thank you for letting me pull your ear. Take care and have a good day. God bless. The old timer.

What's with the key features? Was this written by Johnny Two-times? Heated and cooled leather seats? No really, heated drivers seat , cooled drivers seat? leather seats? I didn't get all that from the first sentence where it clearly states "heated and cooled leather seats" just in case you're dyslexic they tell you everything twice, yea turbo, NAV , satellite radio, then just to be sure, it's turbocharged with navigation and satellite radio, way to go guys have another drink before you write your next review, maybe I got it wrong and it's got dual turbochargers and 2 drivers seats that are heated , cooled and leather and a separate satellite radio in back for the passengers. Maybe another set of aluminum wheels in the trunk just in case. Maybe proofread before you post or not, pretty funny tho. 😋 pretty funny, try proofreading before you post. lol
