Had my Smart #1 Brabus for 5 weeks 1,000 miles now. To say I love it is an understatement. 🥰 the real world 0-60 on tarmac is actually 3.7 seconds and 12.1 seconds quarter mile. Which is quicker than an Audi RS3 😁 this plus 22kW AC charging, heat pump, matrix headlights and 5 more pages of tech make £43,450 seem like a bargain.❤🎉

How many miles are you getting of range with the battery fully charged?

How's the display for the speedo and info like for the driver as it seemed bit lowly placed. But at least it's there unlike the Tesla Model 3 even after a face-lift.
As always nice review, and the car looks Smart. (You decide if the last word was pun intended)

Great review. Also, I think this new SMART is amazing and offers such great value. If you go for a non Brabus, it is way below 40K and offers you more spec than a 70K Mercedes GLC. And driving assistance is standard, and has heated steering wheel, which is still not even an option on a Mercedes 😮
Also, as annoying it is to switch off the lane departure system each time you start, it is sadly a silly legal requirement now, manufacturers have to switch it on as default for each start…

Thanks Eddie! That’s a good point regarding non Brabus version. Forgot to mention it in the video. Thanks for watching mate and I look forward to seeing your travel vid!

Heating steering wheel no longer on the spec sheet in the UK unfortunately

Does anyone know if the boot is large enough to fit a chunky pushchair without pushing the seats forward?

Nice review of the smart #one Brabus edition it is a great car nice interior and bloody fast only negative I guess it should have had better uprated brakes and handling considering its 428 Bhp I think they just left it almost same as standard spec smart one .
I know on your channel you mostly review Merc cars but I wonder what your thoughts or review of the MG4 X POWER at 36k pounds and slightly quicker than the Brabus but not as nice interior or as many extras as smart one but is cheaper by 7k thanks in advance

Thank you! I haven’t driven the MG but, I’m a firm believer in that no one really builds “bad” cars anymore. However there is a difference in build quality and ride etc. For me the Smart is a great choice, as is BYD (first impressions anyway) really impressive kit and refinement. My dad had a Niro, great tech, but the ride felt a bit… cheap and not as smooth as some of the others. Aftersales was an issue too… with smart you get a bigger network to tap into should you need help or have an issue… worth thinking about, peace of mind etc.
